Aerith is kinda harsh on her though. She knows Tifa wants to be with Cloud, yet she still flirts with him and forces/persuades Cloud to go on dates with her, lol. Don't get me wrong, I love Aerith. But she definitely isn't a great friend in that regard

Honestly the way Sephiroth gets between their friendship cuts way deeper than the other ship he sinks.

if you know about their childhood, you'll see it makes perfect sense that they're acting this way. Tifa's age might be less but her social experience is much more than Aerith since she had to work and earn a living all by herself at a very young age.

I can now see why Tifa broke down at the end

Stuff like this is what makes the ending trully heart breaking!

I'm honestly impressed how well these characters are written. It's not only exactly as I remember it, but even better. They're also really loving, empathic, supporting and listen to each other. They help each other and do regular checkups ('are you okay?' happens a thousand times). I really love these characters :)

Pretty sure it was Nojima who said Tifa and Aerith were always supposed to be friends but it didn't end up being conveyed enough or something like that. He sure succeeded this time around.

Brianna White and the voice actor of Tifa Lockhart did such an amazing job bring in the respect of characters to life in the game and there were many more this was just one of the more adorable interactions between these two characters within the story pretty much gang up on cloud about renting chocobos during in abandon dock scene which was even funnier when she's climbing the side of the mountain Tifa has their own unique scenes as well both voice actresses did a tremendous job bringing them to life look forward to seeing more stories in final Fantasy 7 reunion

Legit felt so bad for Tifa at the end of the game. You could tell she was really hurting before taking off in the Bronco before the credits roll.

It's hilarious how they make everyone obtain beach wear that's required for only one story mission after that you can take Cloud & company onto the beach in regular clothes carrying weapons to pick up side quests 😂

The best thing about the FFVII remake is that Aerith saw Tifa as a friend from the start. In the original she was jealous of her and she saw Tifa as a rival for the love of Cloud. There are some hints in the remake that she is still jealous of Tifa and Cloud relationship but she is also very supportive towards both of them. I really love Aerith I hope that she will be able to come back in someway in the final chapter 🤍🤍

@@LARK-ht7kd true, I'm replying FF7 remake and I'm at chapter 12 (The one with a ghost in an abandoned train station). During one scene aerith says "good to know we have a special bodyguard...MINE", for just a single moment you can see Tifa's annoyed face before she jumps near to cloud and grab his wrist, aerith was already doing this, and asking him to open a haunted door. I think that Tifa is not only jealous of Aerith situationship with Cloud but she would like also to have a more outgoing personality like aerith. In fact, Cloud and Aertih helped Tifa a lot to came out of her shell.

Well there was the alternate timelines we do know there is a timeline where cloud saved her. And cloud is seeing her whether she is real or not, so she can still be making appearances and talking even if she stays dead in their time

The developed friendship between Tifa and Aerith is one of my favorite things about Rebirth!

Omg replay value that’s how they get you.

The sad part is she's just playing around. She knows what's going to happen to her. And when you get closer and closer to it you see the little moments where she's got tears when everyone else is happy. And then there's that soul-crushing part of her telling cloud "whatever happens next, it's not your fault" knowing what was coming and hearing that after everything from the old games was crushing. And then we get that moment of Hope seeing the alternate timeline, but then back to the correct one. And then at the end we aren't even sure if that's really her or if cloud is just gone having had a complete psychotic break imagining her giving him all that encouragement and being there with everyone

mostly globetrotting and learning the backstory of your characters, with an overarching plot of saving the world from a psychotic alien man. Also you play soccer with dogs and race man sized chickens :)

Yes, their voices are annoying to the point I can't buy the game.

They massively over feminized this game. It's an adventure epic. You should be walking round as the main character more instead of shopping for bikinis. This is partly what ff8 suffered from going off doing things that ruined the immersion and were a bit drab and boring. Don't get me wrong exploring a little area is nice. But you should keep it in the adventure epic guise. I'm not totally against things like this but from what I've seen there are far too many plastic and removed from adventure scenes like this and they massively dropped the ball on changing the whole story also.
