I think it was very fitting to have Yuzuru in the middle of that hug. From the behind the scenes footage, interviews, and comments from fans I've seen, it seems like he's the kind of guy who is able to make easy friends with everybody. People are drawn to him, thus why everybody goes in for a group hug where he's standing.

I love that they know exactly who we want to see. I mean, everyone was lovely, but I watched this for Yuzuru and Tessa & Scott. So glad they took the center stage on this.

This is one of the best gala performance I ever seen. This is the true power of the Olympic Games united in the world together.

agree right even if Nathan didn't bumb his short he never got that huge score like Yuzuru in any short program i have wish USA Media didn't hype him to death i hope that don't that at the Grand Pix Final or the world this comming year when they both compete each other. Hanyu is still the lengend no mater what happens

When yuzuru held Maia and all the skaters went into a group hug I literally just ☺️😍

I cry... shivers ran down my spine watching them all skate as a group... ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Forever love Yuzu's friendship with Javi and the Shibsibs💖💖

The way olympic highlighted all the gold medalist, was really awesome. Hats off to all the gold medalist, and also to all the skaters. And also the way everyone did the group hug, when you have this type of friendly competitions then you love to compete. I hope in 2026 also this type of gala performance will be done. But also 2026 figure skating have a major gap of Yuzuru not there. Without Yuzuru, Olympic will be so much different

This is my favourite! The entire figure skating competition was wonderful and this was a great and joyful finale. Whoever decided on this music should be congratulated on making such an inspired choice. I love seeing all these amazingly talented skaters on the ice together. That upside down lift Anna and Luca do makes me catch my breath! And thank you Olympic Channel for providing my daily fix of Empress Wenjing. 😊😄😍

To say this video made me cry would be an understatement!!!!! Seeing everyone reunite by sportsmanship will always be the most wholesome feeling ever!!!!!

this was one of my favorite galas tbh~ the music choice was spot on❤ i always love how happy everyone is at the galas- even if they didnt win - it's like all the stress from the last few days went away and everyone is happy and cheerful, i just love it so much.

This made me so happy 😭 I screamed a little when the song went "This is me" and Yuzuru zoomed out into the spotlight 🥺

watched it for so many times, never thought that i would need it again, but here i am watching it again.

I keep watching this over and over again. So many talents from so many countries performing together on a lively song. I find it so uplifting!
