Their Brunette should have been a native brunette from the Americas called Chile spice and or Hong Kong girl called Ramen Spice. It's fair with England's relationship with India there should also be a coriander spice and an Australian spice called Reef Spice. Go as far as Polynesia with Crab Spice. Total global sisterhood, Arabic Spice for a North African Middle Eastern Girl. There's also lack of African Varieties In British areas.

Re-watching this after almost a decade, brings a big smile on my face. I'm a huge Spice Girls fan from the 90s, and I'll forever treasure this memory of seeing this performace. It was an amazing wrap-up party for the 2012 Olympics.

The performance is literally perfect. All five of these women look phenomenal and perfectly embody their personas. Mel B’s bodysuit, Victoria’s and Geri’s dresses - flawless. They served it this night and I’ll always come back to this performance when I need a pick me up. I truly miss them together on stage as a five piece, but they gave us so much in such a short period of time. Hopefully they’ll do another one-off performance like this some time and Victoria will find the desire to participate. She genuinely seems to be enjoying this performance. It’s rare for a group to have such an impact, but these five knew how to make everyone smile :)

I don’t think VB will ever perform again. In an interview she said she was “petrified” to perform. Victoria also had a panic attack prior to the Olympics performance. She is and will always be my favourite Spice Girl but I think she just found her passion in fashion.

We need this again! Petition to have the Spice Girls as the opening act of every worldwide event

Most of the game ceremomy show solution is to record as the singer perform and and broadcast that to the stadium or even simply just pre record and have the performer lip syncing. Although London Olympics solutions is complicated they are truly performing lives here

The Spice Girls were a movement, a wonderful feminist catalyst and the perfect icons for me growing up. I can't express how grateful I am to have grown up in the wonderful 90s. Tina Turner and the Ikettes may have been better singers, but the fact that Tina was front and center negated the purpose of a girl group. People knew who Tina was but most couldn't name the others. The Spice Girls were all on an equal footing and nobody was replaceable in the band, making them better in the sense of a Girl Group in which they all contribute equally.

I LOVE this so much. I like how even now as full grown women in their own careers they still stay true to their characters. I think people who hate on Victoria have to understand her as "Posh Spice". These women defined a generation and Victoria's posing is true to posh spice. There's a reason why people said it was rare for her to smile on stage, but when asked the other spices (members) would say she was a nice loving person.

Yes, I wasn't a Spice Girls fan but I like them, I used to think that Geri was whom broke the group when she left, am I wrong? While Victoria still being loyal till today, even when she doesn't need to perfrorm anymore. Do I miss something?

Spice girls made it cool to be different and kind. Their message was "be the best version of yourself, love yourself and as long as you will be kind and value friendship, you'll never be alone". That's how they grew a generation of women supporting other women, and not by being obssesed with socialmedia fame and money.

I always want 2ne1 to have reunion stage like that too. If it's happened I wish I could attend to that event.

I was five when Spice World came out and all my older sisters were obsessed with the Spice Girls. Going into school, I had Spice Girls pencils, folders, a lunch box and even Spice wellies! Needless to say, this was the best part of the Olympics for me.

the London Olympics really were a fantastic show overall. RIp to Her Majesty.

They weren't my generation, but they still have such grest music. The classics were always better. At least that's how I perceived it to be.

I always loved how Posh's taxi was late... lol

If you listen very very closely you can hear Victoria's voice... she is using her lower register which was normal for her she always done the low harmonys and sung them very well at that...people just hear her higher registers and think she can't sing... when the fact that she came from a theatre background so she can sing she just never had a strong projection compared to Mel b and c

I remember it, was so happy to see them all together. Watching it almost 10 years later made me cry. I wish I were at least 10 years older cos I was just 4 when they became a band, discovered them much later
