Fighting Polluting Industry in Cancer Alley
When an international corporation decided to drop a massive polluting factory in the middle of a historically black community, residents decided enough was enough. See how local resident and grandmother, Sharon Lavigne, is rallying the community to fight back. It's a people's story of resilience, remembrance, and reclamation. www.risestjames.org/

@@jjackerman7736 That's v sweet but this video also lives on Facebook and IG, where it got hundreds of thousands. Plus other cuts.
Little to no regards for human lives 😩
Black people were treated so badly during slavery and still in 2022 they are being treated badly. When I saw the house al destroyed, it broke my heart for Sharon. She is a lovely strong women and I do hope I get to meet her one day. I am in the UK, but would love to go to this community.

You think that equipment could be moved into the plants would help reduce the pollution in the area?
Sue all those companies for billions. They’ll call you back
