@United Fan i changed it to the normal standard camera angle but the game doesn’t automatically switch to my players with me having to press L1 on ps5 to switch to the player. is this a bug or is this fixable ?

Hy I need help here I just wanted to know how to fix my buttons when I switch my fifa from tactical to legacy. Because it removes my R1 an X contain to X press. An I like to play with contain.

Currently started a couple of career modes...what are the small grey arrows for above certain players on the opponent's.. sometimes one maybe two players..?

That’s the player based difficulty indicator that appears when you have the setting turned on. There’s currently a bug where it appears even if you turn the indicator option off. It’s supposed to make certain AI players better than the other AIs based on their overall I think.

I honestly dont understand the analog sprint on/off Mine is on and when i press the R2/RT all the way its 100% sprint and while i use the analog it taps it further while holding down the RT/R2

all of the pros use player relative and theres a reason for that, with player relative you change players based on the player you pick so you can pick from players from the attack to defense when you want, and thats really useful to counter through balls, on ball relative you cant do a drastic player pick like this because it will only pick a player near the ball, thats the disavantage. Yes ball relative is quicker but it is limited while Player Relative is free to do what you want. So yeah if I was you Id just get used to player relative.

Neil thanks for this video. This controller settings is the exact thing I try to use. Only issue I always seem to run into is that once I switch teammate contain to square and contain to R2 my defenders tend to slow down and sometimes literally move away from the ball when I chasing down a striker. It has happened in 20, 21 and now 22. Is there something I’m missing on this?

I started doing these stuff now my game is all messed up I can’t control my players or the ball and when the dribble they take mad long touches and they move so fast it’s hard to control literally slow players run so fast

never would've considered using square as teammate contain? i guess it would be just more efficient

What about trigger resistance?

I think the Competitive Switch will hopefully make gameplay a lot more balanced and not so AI dependant

Automatic switching don't work what happen?

Not played Fifa on any platform for years. Is there the option where you can switch from using the analogue stick to D Pad to dribble and move players with. I've never played football games using an analogue stick so if I can use D Pad settings to move the player then I will consider buying it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

just play with analogue sticks dpads has only 8 directions but with analogue stick you could move around 360°

i might be wrong but i thought this year if you are playing on-line those settings are automaticaly set to on , you can not change them - ie. manual jocky , assisted through balls . we dont get to choose do we for on-line matches ?

I’m having issues with switching to the correct player when defending… I’m conceding a lot of goals, I know what pass they are going to do, when I switch to the defender I need it doesn’t switch to them ? How can I stop this

I play better with analog sprint on. Becouse of then can defend manually.

I tried fifa22 recently and in some games I was losing control of the active player .. the player some times just goes into different direction or makes different moves .. any clue how I can avoid this ?

this master switch bs is making me wanna cancel my pre order.

Well the AI beating the crap out of me maybe because I am rookie,I miss FIFA 18 and 17 it was easy to auto switch now in 22 the game have jockey and contain that makes me confused especially in defence, I can't tackle for the ball and the AI don't help me to lock down on the potential threat,in fifa 22 the ballers of a team don't have ball senses to help you that managing the game play

When i play an online match and i look to my settings that i did from this video everything is OFF. Does somebody now what the reason maight be??

@@CJ522THEG I feel like it REALLY becomes a problem if you feel that momentum surge when the game seems to want to push for your opponents attack to work out and get on thru to goal. It’s literally like the right stick switching refuses to work at all for a few seconds when the opponent is right in front of you! Other than that, I’m playing on the next-gen version and honestly I feel like the skill gap is larger because of the sheer number of different ways to attack/score unlike in prior versions.

He means the 10fps you get going through menus not the speed it loads haha, the menu is laggy as shit, I dont actually think it's 60fps until you go into a game,

Auto switching is currently broken and doesn't actually work at all. Surely will be fixed once the game is actually released

because once you play an online game all your setting are turned to Competitive mode by default, so youre better off just turning on that setting for offline games to so you get used to it

is it only xbox series X that when you load setting with 1 controller it thinks your profile 2 and thinks you have 2 controllers connected? anyone know how to make the controller profile 1 instead of having profile 2 and a ghost profile in 1?

The problem with the experts of the Fifa game (including you) is that you make people use the settings that you have experience with which is not a bad thing, but people are different, for example I prefer using Manuel, instead of auto or airballs and it works for me.while the advice you give here is highly recommended, encourage people to use settings that will work with them.

its all about preference and feel, in my opinion R2 is more comfortable 🤷‍♀️ R1 hurts my finger because of the edges of the button in contact with my finger
