It's incredible that the whole game can get even worse from patch to patch. Now it's like Fifa 22 and Fifa 21 had a baby together and the worst part is that the whole community has become so used to this meta mechanic an bug abuse that it's near impossible to play a normal game of online Fifa. ***rant over***

It’s worst for me I can’t change anything constantly resets before I play a game, I’ve deleted the game, tried a million times and it won’t change not even the camera I hate ea so much I’d love to kill every dev that codes this game it’s fucking awful

Thanks Neil! I still don’t notice a difference between HIGH LOW and NONE. Sometimes I notice the game auto switching for me during a GK clearance… I’m trying to apply pressure with my striker and when the ball gets cleared to the wings my icon switches on its own

I have "High and Loose Ball" but sometimes FIFA switch my player automatically to another player if I run behind and my player plays a through ball to his striker. This is very annoying. Why do FIFA that? Do you have a suggestion to stop this?

Dude i dont understand how people auto defend in this game like they afk the controller their players still make runs on me but when i do that my players just move away and give them free space, its really annoying i feel like its a game setting that i turned off but cant figure out what it is

if analog sprint is on and ur lightly holding the trigger, will it be be taking better touches and will you be able to change speed directionally, instead of Lb or Rb stopping?

I put pass receiver on Animation Start it makes you pass the ball quicker without taking a touch and your player will be offside

the defending on fifa is awful, you always late to make a challenge

just curios, how can you switch through layer of players to CB to track back opp's striker with ball relative ? And what is the different between "Contain" and "Teammate contain" ? Because it's seem like I actually forget about "contain" button while defending.

Contain makes your player press the opponent on the ball, teammate contain seems to prefer to track runs/passing options rather than press the ball

I still use R1 for running

no no legacy defending.. it only works on single player and ai does everything for u.. so yeah tactical defending like always

Just remove the keyboard if you are not tabbing while playing other than that don't click with mouse in game
