I feel like when you jocky into players, instead of tackling them, the ball just bounces all over the place, in most cases back to them

I find that ur best defense against that is as soon u put a tackle in or put ur body in, if u touch the ball immediately run backward towards ur own goal , so if u win it ur ur bodies between the ball and da attacker and if u don’t win it they keep it or the ball bounces towards the goal (giving them a chance to run through on goal, ur defender is already facing the right direction to retrieve the ball asap or to catch up to an attacker

Frustrating thing about runningback is the defender looking and slightly running towards the ball carrier This leads them to being slower at covering the angle

i found using the AI teammate to pressure has worked quite well as you cover one side and the AI covers the other side he might fake to.

Decent tutorial but you never mentioned Offside trap once, which while watching your video made me pull my hair out because you had many offsides traps LoL

Running into the player with jockey does not work when the opponent player turns his back towards me. How to combat that?

My defenders ignore the depth level I set. This hasn’t been really a game of actual ability since custom tactics were introduced anyway. Let’s hope EA loses the monopoly on football before next release.

defending in this fifa is so frustrating for me. Idk if it’s my controller or I’m doing something wrong but when I’m moving my defender, my player decides to continue running even though I instruct him to stop. Is this normal!???

try jockying, press the lt and rt at a same time and try to cut the passing lane dont always run into the players use Lt whenever you try to quick stop your player

Some cards are just overpowered. Just bcoz of some cards, some average players are able to win games. Bcoz the AI automatically slows down the gameplay of normal cards 🤷🤦😬

I just dont know what to do against fast players..

Why saying passing is horrible because you can t pass in fist touch to target in your back… well dude that s how it is in reality… for once something look more realistic and you call it bad? Arcardish fifa has long years ahead with feedback liked these…

What's the point of even having a tackle button if it's no use, your at risk of getting a penalty 99.99 percent of the time when using it either way. EA has developed the jockey button to make automatic tackles for us what's next is EA going to play the whole defense for us.

I have been following you for few years now. I can call myself a decent player. I used to play in div 1 and div 2. Quite familiar with the game. You have been emphasizing these tips for years. I can tell everyone that they work well. However, this fifa is a bag of dirt. So shit. I mean the servers, and probably with the arrival of ps5, ps4 servers are left with no improvement. I live in the Netherlands and I have a good internent connection. But this fifa is sooooo laggy. Im notcing a pattern: at at the begining of every second half in ultimate team, the game lags so much (peak) and I cannot not control the press and therefore I have massive holes in my backline (aka your tipa do not work anymore). Too annoying. Im really pissed and i feel im 100% scammed this year. At least the past few fifas, I do not have this much lag and delay almost every game.

I had this problem, try and change your wifi frequency band to 5 GHz instead of automatic on internet settings (PS5), worked for me

When Fifa says u will lose, all these tactics make no sense. The scripting just mess you up
