Ferruginous Hawk

The Ferruginous Hawk is a beautiful and regal bird. In flight from below it is almost pure white, like a phantom. In this video I have been experimenting with some new software. Any comments are appreciated.

    I often wondered , when driving through Kansas & Oklahoma, what type of hawk sat on the top of telephone poles. My guess is that it was these beauties: BUTEO REGALIS. And they do indeed look regal.

    Thanks for sharing this great footage Steven. I'm a native of NM down in the SE corner and have really enjoyed the birds of prey all my life. Great to see someone hunting and mentioning NM. I'll keep following your videos. !
