I don't understand why people hate the cali. Yeah it's very cheap (for a modern Ferrari) and the front end looks like an f body camaro/trans am but it's still an f car through and through. I wouldn't mind owning one. It's no 458 or anything but I'll take this over any similarly priced astons, 911s (expect for gt3s and turbo s) and maseratis. Hell, I'll choose this over any c8 any day.

@@jasonmeehan1269 but it's still an F car regardless, that alone makes it more special than any modern m, amg and 911 (except for the gt and turbos). It doesn't have stupid screens too and is reliable (for a supercar). Definitely the most underated and underappreciated modern ferrari of all time. I'd take this over any amg gt series car (yes even the black series gtr pro or whatever the fuck the they call the highest end model of the amg gt is)

Rented a California T the other day and man, the sound is incredible in these cars. They nailed that. Speed wise and driving wise I don't have much to compare to seeing as I had never set food in a car of that magnitude before but it ripped just fine for my needs ! Ferrari just understands optics and the importance of engine sound.

I love this car, amazing GT car, it's crazy to compare this to a F430, it stands alone as a brilliant GT

Fiat owned Ferrari and Chrysler at that time. Not sure where the ownership is these day. That stereo is a real let down which probably had to be sourced "within the group".

This is my favorite Ferrari that I can actually afford. I hope to own one some day if the used car market actually approaches sanity at some point in the future. As it turns out, the California actually received mostly excellent and positive reviews. The mixed review myth is basically gaslighting based on some sort of sway in public opinion after automotive journalists reported on it. Why would this happen? I suspect some wealthy folks wanted to drive the prices down so they can buy them up and sell them at a profit once they started getting attention on the used car market, but that’s just a guess. Even if you control for the inflated prices in the used car market over the past year or so, the price has gone up considerably within the past 6 months. Public opinion is swaying back towards what the journalists originally reported. It’s fascinating actually. I just hope the prices drop down back into the $70-80k range before they start to appreciate longer term.

We bought our Ferrari California 2014 last November ! It had 8,600 miles! We are the 6th owners! We love our Ferrari! We really enjoy this car. So far we put about 5,000 miles on this car! Hey, Life is too short! We only live once. Enjoy it while we can.

LOL! Martin remarked the 458 Spider is no hairdresser’s car. The California is Ferrari’s version of a hairdresser’s car. I hate those hideously stacked quad pipes. At least they sorted that with side by sides on the later model. Edit : Max drew the short straw on this test day.

Obviously things like breaks and tires are not something would do yearly . What year was this car and is this exhaust standard or do I look for a particular car and exhaust. Thank you

Here is a crazy trick I use to make it stop screeching breaking noise, use the same stuff you spray to make tires shine, yeah tire shine silicone oil will extend the life of the breaks but.... i never really drive too fast sooooo be aware

They just slapped the front and back of the FF on the T. The original is so much more unique and harkens back to the original CA. Pinanfarina did a great job.

The camera should show the road ahead, instead of focusing on the steering wheel/gauges. To make it easier, have it look up (like normal 3d racing games), but otherwise, everything else makes for a good review: that sound, the overall look of "entry level"
