The reason the 3200gt won is because it actually has around 420BHP. Masersti had to advertise 370 because of what ferrari had for sale at the time, the 3200gt is faster than the 360 and 355.

The 3200GT now only cost 16K USD in Hong Kong. Nice ,fun, elegant and cheap

Wrong about them both being a Ferrari, the 3200 GT is actually a 3.2 Twin Turbo MASERATI Engine. The 4.2 GT has the Ferrari Engine.

..no.... it was placed under operational control of FERRARI in 1997. The reason I quoted that is because it's a statement from Fiats press release in 1997. A simple google search will confirm this for you. Wikipedia also agrees, although you must read the dates very carefully. I can only suggest that you will have lost marks!

Fiats are made by Fiat Auto (also make Alfa-Romeos, Lancias and Iveco commercials). Fiat Auto is owned by Fiat group, which also owns a majority share of Ferrari (and Maserati). Hence the companies are connected by common ownership, but neither one makes the other one's cars.

4.9 seconds if 100kmh if 100kph it’s like 10seconds

no ferrari only owned 50% in 1997 but Fiat had total control still and made all its cars and designed them/built them.

It was built and sold when Ferrari owned the company - 1999.

that 3200 is the old one with 370cv, imagine what the "new" 3200 with 390cv can do...

no actually it was placed under operational control in 1999....1997 was still when fiat was under operational control, its in their business reports lol, i had to do a report on this for uni lol.

Getting these cars is very possible! But the upkeep, not so much...

the 3200GT is a pure maserati engine, not ferrari, the later coupe or 4200gt has the ferrari/maserati engine

the 3200gt was when FIAT still owned the company.

Ferrari took over in 1999 at the end of the year, the car was deisgned built and manufactured however before then by Fiat.

The newer Maserati's with 390 are the 4200's.

No you're simply wrong. Fiat have no clue about building Maseratis. Maserati have always built Maseratis. Fiat just bought them up in 1993. The 3200gt was the first Maserati built with Ferrari help. "Maserati was placed under the operational control of Ferrari in 1997" - hence the 50%. This is common knowledge.

Bit harsh, I'd not risk the Maserati in the snow whilst an Impreza would be perfect.
