I am from Turkey, this guy is deffinetly a global treasure, I am happy to be in the same generation with him.

Need more like him. Not enough people out there that have this much skill or talent with the blues. Either that, or he needs a TON more exposure. Imo he is on another level than the more famous guitarists, close in gift level to the greats such as Hendirx and BB King. And he's still really young. The potential is amazing with him. He needs to somehow become more well known so he can inspire more people. Then the blues will be in good hands.

Kingfish is one of the best blues performers i have ever seen. He is a national treasure and we are all very lucky to witness his awesomeness.

I’m so happy to see a young African-American man who is carrying on the blues, the foundation of all popular American music and the purest music in the world IMO. Muddy, Albert, BB, and all of the blues greats who have passed on would be very pleased with Kingfish!

Adding to my own comment. After listening to that Nate Dogg tune, I think I've realized something new. We need these great new talented musicians to play less of what they think people want and more of what they want to play. This is how music evolves and becomes great. If Christone applied his blues chops and excellent voice to all the things he loves in music, it would be music I would listen too. I want to hear new sounds, new ideas, and new artists being true to their hearts. The blues is iconic, but it isn't a definition for everyone alive today. My life is a mix of technology and traditional ideas. (I'm a public school teacher) The "real world" is a collage of everything that came before. That collage needs to be celebrated and explored. We need to encourage musical expression and ignore what the music industry thinks is the "best" thing. The best thing is whatever our young musicians are creating. I want to hear the music Christone is uncomfortable to release. Because that will be "honest" music. I want to hear musicians unafraid to be themselves. I want to hear honest music again. The last time we got that was long ago. It's 2020, it's time to hear it again.

Saw Christone live at the Salt Lake City Blues Festival in 2018. I was blown away when he walked out into the crowd and literally stood two feet in front of me jamming the whole time. His playing was INCREDIBLE, been a huge fan from that day forward!

Chris mentioned all those great influences: Albert, BB, and Freddie King, Eric Gales, Otis Rush, Son House, but vocally he sounds a lot like a young Robert Cray. Great stuff.

I decided to check out a few new Fender guitars after I saw Kingfish playing them. Fender found a great ambassador for their brand with this guy. Their factory did a great job on the few 2019 models I tried out. I could only take one of them home so I ended up getting a new MIM Player Series Tele. Fender.. thanks for supporting great artists and for putting Alnico pickups in the MIM Fenders.

He did a forty minute solo up in Reading one night and he was playing a PRS like ax with tons of saturation, compression etc. so after the show I got to speak with him and said I love to hear you play with a more organic sound like a strat single coil vibe . I believe he might.

My favorite “new” guitar player. New to me, sort of, anyway. Kingfish is one WICKED player. Respect all the way around.
