Kingfish is amazing humble young man. His mama raised him right! .True story. . We're hanging out at 152 Beale Street waiting for an Experience Hendrix Show at the Orpeum Theater at the end of the street. We hear somebody say see ya later Fish. We get to the venue and we're taking pictures of these amazing buses painted with Jimi Hendrix album covers. Who walks up as asks if we want him to take a picture of all of us? Kingfish! We still have no idea who he is, but we know he's going to the show. We didn't know he was IN THE SHOW. at the end of the 3 hours of Jimi tunes Buddy Guy hands Kingfish a guitar and says "play it kid". Fish played Hey Joe to close the show. Oh...and he was 17 and still in High School!

I'm fortunate enough to have met this young man personally. He is nothing but a young man and he is exactly what you see. He is an impressive young man. He is a product of his family's understanding of talent, careful effort, supportive, and faithful ethics. He is so humble. He is a young man of solid character and integrity, wise for his age. He was a good influence on this old man. No doubt. Young Kingfish was an example of how wrong my attitude was towards the younger generations. I am a more hopeful man after a honest experience with the teenage Kingfish. It was a couple minutes that felt like a half hour. I am a grateful man. Knowledge through Music. ✌️

I preferred his Michael Chertoff signature guitar. Obviously, An endorsement from Fender is more lucrative.

@@christopherkahn6522 Absolutely! Michael Chertoff is a Luthier out of Brooklyn. He does build very good sounding guitars at CNC manufacturing prices. He is not advertised anywhere, but you can find him on the usual social media.

@@p6x2 Yea, that is a great sounding guitar, a bit more special than the Strat. My point is that for a mid-level production Strat, the new Vintera Series is like a home run. I love Fender's, Gibson's, Larrivee's, Martin's, and there are a whole lot more fine instruments out there. I even own some great Squier's, and I do mean great.

@@christopherkahn6522 what I really like about the Michael Chertoff's is that for about 2500 USD, you get a real boutique guitar, which is going to be unique. Since he works everything manually, the model you get will be personalized. I am not saying that Fender's and Gibson's can't make a guitar, but as the manufacturing techniques have lowered their production costs, the retail prices have gone through the roof.
