Favored Lane Dwelling Fire 9/7/23 Levittown, PA
On scene video of firefighters working to bring a dwelling fire under control in the Farmbrook section of Levittown. One resident was taken to an area hospital with smoke inhalation and burns. Levittown #1, 2, Edgely, Fairless Hills and Third District Fire Companies operated on the fireground.

Great video My son and I were their. We live street over my son wanting to be a volunteer fireman, woke me about going to see how close it was. Watching the firemen risking their lives and working to get fire under control is amazing. We saw you filming great shots as always.
It's always interesting to see the number of white helmets performing actual firefighting duties at so many of these fires being responded-to by volunteer companies. I wonder if that is the state of affairs throughout the sector, where the number of volunteers is dwindling? When I was in high school 40+ years ago, there were far more volunteers responding to any given call than there was space on an apparatus. That was back in the day when there were three guys on the back platform hanging onto a bar, maybe with a safety strap, maybe not. Times have changed for certain.
