FATTY LIVER: How to Fix It (Better than Any Pill) 2024

You can reverse Fatty Liver. You may think of Fatty LIver as a disease that affects over-weight old people, but that's wrong. We now have teenagers in the U.S. on the liver transplant list due to Fatty Liver Disease caused by their diet.
Eating and Drinking the wrong things will cause the liver to store fat. This fat is inflammatory to your liver and hampers its function. Without correcting fatty liver, it will one day lead to steatohepatitis, cirrhosis, and failure.
Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is Entirely caused by your diet and Entirely reversed by your diet. In this video, I will tell you exactly what to do to prevent fatty liver before it develops, or reverse fatty liver disease after it has.
Fixing your fatty liver doesn't involve taking prescriptions, pills, powders, or other products, you might be surprised at how easily and affordably you can fix yours. We all need to share this message because people are suffering from fatty liver and don't yet know...

I had to request it from my doctor because she didn't care to check despite my strange symptoms. You have to demand to be checked, to get a yearly physical. Just had a patient transfer from my care to another in our practice because I told her that her diet (to decrease carbs) was the best way to treat her T2D. Thank you for setting the record straight on this SERIOUS health risk. I was diagnosed with NAFLD 2 years ago and NONE of my doctors have told me any of this valuable information, also, they do not even mention it in my routine physicals since they do not regard NAFLD as a serious threat to my health. This is the very first time I have been instructed on eliminating SUGAR in my diet to reduce the inflammation and ultimately reverse the condition. My eyes have finally been opened but I do blame the lack of information with the swanky doctors (highly compensated specialists including: Cardiologists, Endocrinologists and Gastroenterologists) and their failure to dispense the proper information. Very unsettling. Thank you, Dr. Berry!

We're not patients to our doctors, we're repeat customers. Sad really, but that's what they want. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease. Went on keto and intermittent fasting. The best thing I found to help get rid of fatty liver is drinking a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in some warm water 2 times a day before I eat. Add that to keto and fatty liver is gone.

Sorry folks for some reason I just now saw that I got responses on this. What I did was pretty much went low-carb lifestyle and cut out alcohol completely for about 7 months and then only had a glass here and there for celebrations. I changed all sweeteners I used for cooking and baking to monk fruit sugar or stevia. I cut out most anything with wheat and began using low carb product breads , a lot are almond flour based. I followed mostly keto style recipes and some paleo style . I read all ingredient on labels and try to eat as “clean” as I can meaning Whole Foods whenever possible. I lost 36lbs without even changing or adding a whole lot of exercise. I huge plus for me was to follow keto lifestyle bloggers on social media which is where I learned a lot of new substitutes for cooking and recipes. I have continued this lifestyle now 16 months later after diagnoses and 6 months after I got a normal ultrasound and my NAFLD was gone . This is the easiest and best change in eating habits I have ever made my whole 55 years of life. I love it! Good luck to you all and god bless

It only took her a small sip and they went away. Every night I put a baby jar with a tablespoon of pickle juice and when the leg cramps would wake her, she drank 1/2and that did the trick. Did that for about a month then I bought magnesium oil (liquid from a spray bottle: *swanson brand *swansonvitamin.com) and every night before bed I spray the bottom of her feet and put socks on her. If she get a cramp then spray and rub the area and it lessens quickly. Hope this helps and that you get relief from those leg cramps.

I've never been much of a meat eater so I've substituted carbs for the meat. I asked my doctor what I needed to do to stay alive, all she said was lose weight. Okaaaayyy...how do I do that?!? If you can't give up the carbs, make sure they're actually nutritious, like legumes instead of grains. Legumes are around 20 calories per gram of protein, while grains are around 70 calories per gram of protein. Lean meats are of course around 5-6 and fatty meats around 15-16. So it's actually much harder to fuel your body with the amino acids it needs with carby foods. Meat and vegetables are the way to go. Carbohydrates are for intense exercise. And sugar's actually just a toxin.

Unfortunately, the doctors still continue to give insulin to their patients to treat diabetes, just treating the symptoms, not the root cause of the disease. Patients are not getting educated and informed about their disease process and continue to follow the food pyramid model, more and more carbs, less lean meats. I'm a RN, and I see this being done on a daily basis.

The Prophet yes any sugar can harm liver and build fatty liver. Took 6 min before got to the point. Do not feed kids high sugar diets usually means lots of snacks. Plan the talk before please. Talk to the point which you finally did and it was then. Very good information to have.

@Ali La Pointe I couldn't stand the taste of water until I bought a countertop water distiller. It tastes so good that I prefer it to anything else, except coffee! Buy a cheap water distiller on Amazon and throw out the plastic catch bottle that comes with it. Put a large glass pitcher under the drip nozzle and pour the water into glass jars. I have 5, 1/2 gal Mason jars I keep full and only use it for cooking, ice and drinking. I put a jar with a metal band and lid on them. Works great, the distiller cost me about $80.00. Made in USA, ROSVUN Brand, is what I purchased.

This is no joke Dr Ken, based off the info I learned from you and Dr Shawn Baker. I am 10 months in and about 100lbs down from a massive change in my diet. keto carnivore, sugar is a killer and it took me 60 days to get control of it but after that it goes from an impossible task to smooth sailing. Majority of my health issues are gone or reversed

I did my blood test yesterday after 5 weeks of 100% no carbohydrates no sugar no fruits no starch no red meat diet. My Liver panel test result shown AST , ALT , GGT level all perfect! Far from its top range. Just 5 weeks. My fatty liver is reversed to healthy normal. I lost 4-5kg just from dieting and stop eating after 7pm till next day lunch. 2 meals a day. Only boiled using water, steam Fish , tofu , cabbage broccoli veggies , chicken breast , black coffee no sugar for afternoon lunch and green tea no sugar during evening dinner not later than 7pm. After 7pm I fast till next day lunch 12pm. The fasting time is extremely important as this time allows digestion and some hunger which makes our body burn the fat within without exercising. Exercising barely able to reach the fat around our liver. So fasting is the effective way. I had No milk (contain high fat and high sugar) . No snacks. No all kind of bread which still are carbohydrates. No cake. No biscuits. No rice. No noodles. No fruits especially as it’s fructose are directly process only by our liver! Just 5 weeks and fatty liver is back to normal with proven liver function blood test compared to my previous test result 5 weeks ago. I feel very lively light and positive. I lost 5kg. Also My cholesterol and sugar level were also extremely good blood test result! I m looking way younger and my body is nicer too. I m 33 years old male. Non smoker non alcoholic. Didn’t work in a toxic environment. I didn’t exercise. But I ate much rice , fatty red meat, and milk and cookies and fruits. I slept late before. Now I kicked those bad habit n bad diet. After recovered from fatty liver, I continue my way of eating n fasting n sleeping time. I reintroduced some healthy carbohydrates back into my diet. Such as some corn carrot , some wheat bread, a little potatoes. Please make sure u do not overdo it. I really mean only some. Lack of discipline and taking it for granted will cause regrets. I’m sharing for mankind and for those who were helpless from useless doctors. And I’m sharing in memory of my late father who passed away due to end stage liver disease.

Dr. Berry-we need more physicians like you. The first doctor I went to as an adult kept telling me that I had "elevated liver enzymes" but never explained what that was. He wanted me to wait 3 months and do another blood test. No change in diet, no medication, no changes of any kind. 3 months and a blood test, another 3 months and a blood test. After several times of this, he didn't know what to do so he ordered an ultrasound. 10 minutes and $800 later, "you have elevated liver enzymes" and wanted a specialist to do a liver biopsy. I did not have that done. My blood work recently showed liver was "normal" whatever that means. I'm on keto, doing as well as I can. STILL can't get away from small amounts of sugar in vegetables, but I want to see what happens in 6 months with next blood panel. THANK YOU for being here.

Many doctors tend to be like this but my brother, a doctor, always wants his patients not to spend a lot so he actually suggests alternative medicine since he studied traditional medicine in China after finishing his western medical degree.

  • @whatevergoesforme5129

    @whatevergoesforme5129

Yes, indeed. In the past, doctors used to laugh at Eastern medicine (and this was during my brother's early years as a doctor in the 90s). However, my brother has always taken a conservative approach to medicine which was not popular during that time. He is against having surgeries if a natural cure is an option. He believes that surgery is the last option. He is also against synthetic drugs or chemo and again will say it should be the last option LOL. At first, I hated him for insisting that we try this medicinal herb or that alternative food before taking antibiotics but now I realize that bacteria can be resistant to antibiotics and mutate or that our body can actually heal itself if we just eat right. Now, I am forcing myself to take what my brother prescribes like turmeric, cinnamon, green tea, other herbs and spices as part of my diet. He doesn't want me to take painkillers (as usual). I don't want to put down Western medicine but you are right, Bill, that Eastern and Western medicine should be combined

I've recently discovered your videos and Dr Eric Berg's videos on YT and have found the information invaluable, especially when combined. I had a fatty liver for years.I had my gall bladder removed 25 years ago and I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and high blood pressure. My doctor would say to lose 20 pounds that’s it . I just didn’t feel well. I had a sonogram of my liver and she said oh I see some acites nothing else . I said maybe I should see a gastroenterologist. He did some blood work and told me I had cirrhosis. He recommended me to the Liver Institute at MT.Sinai in Manhattan. I ballooned up and had to undergo paracentesis to remove 10 liters of fluids from my abdomen several times with a long needle. I got jaundice and turned yellow. Twice I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital with encephalitis. I couldn’t speak and was zombie like. I got horrendous pain in my liver. Constant , lasting 2 days straight. My second hospitalization I was tested extensively and put on the list. 3 days after my discharge I got a call at 4 am and was told a liver was found. You never want to face that experience. A breathing tube , dialysis, multiple IV’s , one in my neck, insulin shots in my stomach, blood transfusions, blood draws every day , more tests , pain pain pain and pain meds, lots - lots of medication ( including Lactulose UGH) .A second hospitalization because I couldn’t eat for 2 months. I lost 80 pounds and was like a skeleton. That was 2 years ago last Sunday. I am so grateful to be alive and so blessed. My advice- FOLLOW THE DIET.
