    I love that you follow your own guide! So many fitness gurus lift heavy and do fewer reps and then push low weight high rep exercises in their guides.

    I will be joining you! Really looking forward to cutting. I am having a hard time tracking my foods because I always go over. I don't like tracking at the start of my day for the whole day because I am not that good at knowing what I will want later to eat. Any tips on nailing your macros/cals?

    Love this! I’m on a fat loss journey right now! What are tips you have for someone who works out in the early morning. Should I be trying to eat before I go? Normally I do fasted workouts & drink a protein shake immediately after then go home to eat breakfast.

    Mari, love ur channel! How can I heal faster after the gym? I recently started lifting and leg day kills me. I walk like robo cop for days. It actually prevents me from going back to the gym for days. Does post workout actually help with muscle recovery or is it just a gimmick? I need help girl!

    Kristen Hartsfield I’ve found that stretching before and after working out has helped me with the soreness as well as getting enough rest and going on walks

    If your gym has a power plate I find using that in conjunction with my cool down stretches prevents most soreness the day after.

    Veera no. I don’t sleep well. Lol. I’m a nurse and I work overnight so sleep is hard to come by. But after a few weeks of lifting I barely get sore anymore. Thanks for the tips!

    Mari are you familiar with Barbell Medicine? Doctors who are also fitness coaches. They are all for evidence based training and support it with science. I’m new to discovering them but they’ve surprised me so far with their knowledge, the main one being that stretching does nothing to prevent the occurrence of injury. So whether you stretch everyday or never, you don’t increase or decrease the likelihood of an injury. It’ll happen or it won’t and it’s often a mental thing that brings on an injury and the severity of it. They recommend adapting your training to workout so you don’t take a break from fitness due to pain. A different stance to the typical mainstream info but it’s all backed by scientific studies and papers.

    Curious about whether or not you do a day dedicated to chest or if you sometimes combine chest with an upper body day. Or do you skip altogether? Great tips here! I split my workouts differently for me but love getting new ideas! Also with how successful you’ve been with your routine it’s great to know my similar workouts should have me on the right track!     I love you videos I just subscribe 2 weeks ago and I fell in love. Now, how do I know if I'm ratu g the right food and macros that the most important part, I am trying to loose some weight just like 10 pounds but I guess is the hardest because is my postpartum weight and is all in my tummy 😢.     Hey Mari! how's your macros look like now that u start the cut?! I know it varies from one person to another but I would like to have an idea. Also, I am in my cut as well and I feel that I can't lift hard, meaning on my leg days I can't add 5lb every other week as I was doing before. Any tips? Is it normal?
