Fast X Pitch Meeting

It’s been over two decades since the first Fast & Furious movie came out, a relatively low-key movie about some street racers that steal DVD players. With the franchise having gone to space in the last installment, what more is there for the Fast Family to do at this point? Just keep going on, looks like.
Fast X definitely raises some questions. Like how did they land on that title? How many people from Dom’s past are out there right now plotting revenge? What’s with the tourism stop after getting on the most wanted list? What was that ENTIRE scene with Pete Davidson??
To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Fast X!

I feel like the F&F franchise took that as a challenge to make it to twenty movies, and now nothing, nothing, but _nothing_ is going to stop them. I demand more screen rants for more movies. This is one of the 2 channels I will watch before deciding to watch a movie with few exceptions. After the disaster that was the last season of game of thrones and the disrespect to Han Solo's character, I refuse to be subjected to the poor writing, regurgitated scripts and subversion plots and endings. Spoilers should be a feature, not a warning. I refuse to watch a film without knowing where the story is going. You are doing the Lord's work.
Me : Why did Dwayne Johnson come back after he swore he wouldn't return to the franchise Mr. Krabs: ...MONEY...
I honestly think it’s fascinating how we collectively, as a species, decided this franchise needs 10 installments. See you in two years for 11 Fast 11 Furious

Brillant and hilarious as always! I imagine the "wow wow wow" to have been 10 times, with the tenth somehow being a roman/latin wow :D

As the Fast & Furious saga gets wilder, so do their pitch meetings. This was amazing 😂

Ryan George with glasses and Ryan George without glasses are genuinely better written and more developed characters than every character in the entire Fast and Furious film franchise. I'm not sure if that's funny or not...

Yes! This one was great. So many good lines. I agree, that scene with Pete Davidson was so random and dumb. They were fighting like kids and then throwing either cocaine or pixie dust into the air. And Han should've been tripping for longer than that. Also, the part when you said "in the movie...I'm not in the movie" had me dying. Totally caught me off guard. (Totally catching me off guard is tight!)

You are missing the point. Ryan watched it so you don't have to. He shows the absurdity, shallowness, immaturity, excess, and overall poor quality of big-budget Hollywood products. It's just mindless audiovisual stimulation, loosely tied together with dialogue. Don't give your valuable time and money to a bunch of decadent champagne liberal elites. You should be mocking them.

Thank you Ryan for another awesome Pitch Meeting. I always look forward to new episodes and I have yet to be disappointed with any of them. Keep up the great work. I also want to thank you for acknowledging something that I have not yet found anything about online, that being Little B pulling the trigger, killing at least 4 guys and being pumped about it together with uncle Jakob. Maybe I have watched to many Pitch Meeting, Honest Trailers and Cinema Sins videos but sometimes I can't completely turn the analyzing part of my brain off for popcorn action movies, which is why during that scene I could not help but think "dude that kid just took out at least 4 guys - looking forward to that realization/reaction down the line" (honestly I don't think that will ever come up and also maybe the exploding cars did not kill the passengers, who knows in this franchise xD). After the movie I mentioned this to my friends and they were like "I did not even think about that while watching, why can't you stop thinking and cheer for the explosions like the kid did?" My only response was that this could lead to a little psychopath down the line - which I guess could be the plotline for "Fast & Furious 18" where Little B is all grown up and needs to be stopped by his family... Sorry about the long rant but it really bugged me that seemingly no one acknoledged this part or just brushed it off as "they were bad guys" or "I would want him to do that in this situation to save them" - in any case this should have an impact on the kid in some way and not the laughing "yeah we blew them up". I just think this seems such a deliberate choice to have him actually pull the trigger - why not have the uncle pull the trigger instead of reloading. With the emphasis on family and coming together to support each other which they always bring up, I really hope this is not simply forgotton about. Anyway once again thank you for the video and anyone reading this, thanks for indulging in my little rant.
