Hey Arthur! My wife got into video games a few months ago, and since having our baby 4 months ago, started playing her first ever game, Minecraft, as now being home with our son, she has a lot of time to play, and loves it. For Mother’s Day today, I got her this game, and as a gamer myself, pick things up quickly. I just started, I played FS for the last time in 2018 (Played FS15) and I loved that game. I got some knowloge from it but as I was new I didn't know much, just the basics. Now I'm into FS 19 and I'm loving it, might be one of my best games.

I think the birds chirping in the background added to the immersion lol

I am pretty anal when it comes to farm equipment storage lol - Wish I was that good in real life.

I've been buying games for years not realizing Farming simulator is like the best ever lol! First played 17 now into 19. Great videos man, one of the best at game tutorials on KZread. Especially when us noobs pretty much require a detailed tutorial vid for FS.🙏

I saw how much more advanced it was. I bought Farming Simulator 19 from steam, fired up Farming Simulator and immediately got completely overwhelmed, no idea where to start. I would love to know how to play Farming Simulator. I do hope your guide will me start playing. There is something about farming I love. I live in rural Wales UK and rent the property where we live from a farmer. I love watching the Lambes playing in the fields every spring. Enough about me I guess and back to Farming Simulator 19. Welp, I was doing it wrong all along. You see I, before watching this video had been Cultivating, Seeding, Spraying (Herbicide), Ferilizing, and finally Harvesting. Thanks for this tutorial. I bought the game for PC :D

Thanks for the help. As another PS Plus free downloader. I felt like the tutorial in the game didn't really cover a lot of the nuts and bolts. By the time I put my second crop down it was 100% weeds. Now I know.

Brand new to this game on console- what’s the best map to download thats based around Britain or similar?

Thanks man, i am new to the game and now i have some ideas on how to begin farming. At the begging i didn't know what was the difference between cultivating and sowing, but now i dont know too, i just got some ideas of what it could be, and i thought that plowing and cultivating are the same thing because you just dig the soil. So yeah , the problem on me was more on the cultivating and understanding it, i hope i will get the full idea soon:)).

lol - Plowing is a deep dig that turns over the dirt and brings nutrients to the top of the soil. The issue with plowing is that it also dries out the dirt so you should only plow like once every 3 or 4 crops. Cultivating is breaking up the soil so that the planter can plant the seeds more evenly. Imagine trying to plant seeds on dry dirt - it can be rock hard, so you need to cultivate it to break it up and soften it. Hope that helps.

Hey man, i was wondering if after you plowed you really have to cultivate and then seed, or that you can just skip the cultivating. Cause you said your doing some stuff just for the simulation, so i wondered if this is really needed. And if it is, does it like bring the profit up just a bit more? Yes, you can skip cultivation if you like - its not realistic, but you can.

Its about the same, but you can't just run around chopping trees down - you have to own the land first, so its much harder to survive.

New to the game (PC) and watching your videos has been extremely helpful. May I ask what the "mod" is called for the fertilizer/seed dispenser? The blue shipping container you use. I looked thru all the in-game mods and didn't see it. Thanks!

With leasing, do you always want to return it immediately after you are done using it or will that start to add up for more common implements? Is it best to just purchase commonly used equipment? P.S. I watched your first part entirely, as well as watching this one through... I think you did a great job! just got this game.

Leasing is charged hourly by usage - so it only charges you for actual usage time. There is also a once daily charge, usually about 1/3 of the initial cost. I would suggest owning the equipment that you use most of the time and only leasing things like a spreader or plow, that only get used periodically. I honestly don't lease too much anymore, because things like harvesters can cost so much to lease that they eat all the profits.

Thank you for these videos, I love that you add the real life explanations. I think I missed it, but Is there anything for gas for the vehicles I should know about? Running out? Auto resupplies?

You can always fill up at the gas station - There is also a thunder creek fuel trailer that you can pull out to vehicle that is empty and service it in the field.

Hey there! I’m quite new to the game but I’ve already spent a few hours in it and I’m loving it! I watched the video even though I know most of the things you said but it was still extremely enjoyable. There’s one thing I wanted to ask: whenever I have a seeder that cultivates and also fertilizes, it fertilizes only in more or less 30%, since the game says in its tutorials that every 50% you fertilize you get an additional 25% crop yield, I was wondering if 30% was even worth it in the first place and whether it would increase my yield

Here is how I look at it - if I get 10,000 liters from a field with no care, just plant and harvest, I can get 20000 liters from the same field if I do full care. Full care (fertilizer+lime+plowing if needed) will cost about 2-3000 bucks, but the extra 10000 liters of crop will get me 15000 to 30000 more money, depending on the market. It becomes very worth it.

I was just wondering if it’s worth to get a seeder that fertilizes because it only gives 30% so is it worth to fertilize 30% as I’m seeding and then spray it once to get a total of 80% or am I better off just spraying it twice to get a 100% fertilized field? EDIT: so i first tried using a seeder that fertilizes on a test map and it gave me 30% fertilized field. Now I accidentally bought a seeder that fertilizes on my main save game and decided to just roll with it and apparently it fertilizes in 50%! Now I feel dumb for asking the questions :P

You will need to wait until it grows a stage - only one fertilization per growth stage.

What do you use for wheat fields fertilizer? My game doesn't let me load the pallet of fertilizer into that k105 spreader

You'll have to use "solid fertilzier" - it sounds like you are trying to put "liquid fert" In the spreader. Let me know if that works.

So for grain type crops, do you have to plow and lime after every harvest to get the most yield?

Great video thank you! I just have 2 quick questions ;) 1. Do you have to use solid fertiliser and liquid fertiliser or could I just do two passes of liquid fertiliser? 2. Can I fertilise before I plant and then fertilise after I have sowed the seeds? I’m guessing that that would count towards 100% fertilisation as it’s at two different stages. Thank you again :) - Edit just realised I can use the same type of fertiliser I watched the video back lol. So don’t bother answering the first question 😂

Yes, you can fertilize once per "growth stage", at any "growth stage". anything after harvest counts as a growth stage, so you could technically harvest, fertilize, plow or cultivate, fertilize and be all done before you even seed. You could also seed oil seed radish and then cultivate it under for a stage of fertilizer. That is what oil seed radish is for. Hope that helps :)

You can either buy a baler and bale it, then load it onto a bale trailer and sell it OR using a "loading wagon", skip baling it and just sell the loose straw - either way gets you the same money - here is my video on all the types of baling and collecting in the game. Lol - yes - The map I use in this video is a great hobby farm map (Campain of France). Its available on console and PC. Also, pretty much any polish map will have great small farming potential. Hope that helps!

Absolutely - some seeders even cultivate as you plant, like the stara and vaderstadt!

Yes, at the beginning I show that little bottom right hand corner field status screen - that tells you everything. The map also can be set to show you field status.

Any stage - once they go to "ready to harvest", its all the same. As a side note, when making corn into silage you can chaff it on the last growth stage and get more chaff that way.

Those are part of the "global company" mod - they are a mod called global company icons.

Btw, would you recomend starting out Silviculture with a telescopic crane and something to carry lumber? I did in ps3 and it worked pretty well.

Just be aware that you have to buy the land to chop the trees down on it. You can't just run around the map anymore, cutting down any tree.

Ah - you don't have to fill it. Just drive your seeder next to it and press the left joystick in - it will bring up the loading menu.

Sunflower does not require any plowing, but with corn its - plow, cultivate, plant, fertilize, harvest and then repeat - also true for potatoes, Sugar Cane, and Sugar Beets - Sugar Cane regrows though, so just leave it - don't keep replanting it.

right and left on the control pad will let you jump between equipment when you in the cab of one of you pieces of machinery. But you have to be in cab of one vehicle first, then jump to the next.

Uh oh, I've gone too deep. Getting youtube ads for farm equipment. Also I used to work for Precision Planting, have you ever used their equipment? They're owned by John Deere now.

Lol, I don't farm at all myself (I barely keep my garden weeded) but I do have lots of farmer friends who I am always asking questions.

Grab the cheapest tipper and turn it into a flatbed trailer - then just use a loader to load it up.

Yeah I'm one of those people who got it from this months free games for having PlayStation+ So far really enjoying the game, slightly annoyed with these beets taking forever to harvest, but it's not my field as it's for a contract on a huge field I'm doing this as I wait for my first round of grass to grow and so I can buy a mower for it as i also wait for some Canola to grow on my second field

Beets, sugar cane, potatoes and poplar are all nightmare harvests - sugar cane and poplar will regrow without replanting, so that is nice.

I’m new to the game is there a way to take two different crops that’s close together and make them one big crop of the same thing and join them together somehow

Yes - rent an actual plow - attach it and then select (allow create fields) from the menu - that will allow you to destroy the barrier between fields.

Sorry, I just saw this (been super busy IRL) You will need to buy a seed container pallet from the shop and then pull up next to it with the seeder. You will then press the left joystick and that will cause the seeder to magically "suck" the seeds from the pallet into the seeder. Then your ready to pick your crop type and go seed. If you want the best results, yes. If you just don't care and only want 50 percent yeild - just cultivate and seed.

Yes lol - to help things along, you can speed up time to 120x. It takes about 3 game days for them to grow on normal mode.

Oh and the full colour icons for each produce, what mod is that? (mine is just white)

I think in real life you would lime first - in game you can do it anyway you like lol

The Xbox doesn't support scripting, so it does not support mining or construction.

You will need both Global Company AND Global Company Icons.

If you were plowing, you wouldn't want to throw plowed soil on top of soil that still needs to be plowed. So, plow needs to be opposite of what you did, both direction.
