Start by picking up grass in your baler, then pick up your staw swath, make sure you finish the last bit of the bale with grass so the next one also starts grass, you'll have silage bale up the wazoo. Engineering your field to the right length with grass on each end makes it a speedy process. Have a worker run the combine with a narrow header so the chaff rows are accurate . Mine are set up so they're 3,800 liters per row. I'll make a hundred bales of silage in 1.5 hrs, plus you get the wheat/barley/oats as a byproduct, it's about 150k per hour income.

Reminder that you must plow after corn/sunflower and some others. So you would need that subsoiler in line before the seeder for maximum yield. It applies even if your switching crops.

remember after harvesting corn, potatoes, sugar beets and sugarcane that you need a plow or subsoiler. the Tiger XL Harvester header is 4 meters wide and using the front lifter on back hitch with 4m subsoiler works great. Since most Corn/Sunflower cutters come in 3,6,9 or 12 meter wide recommend something that fits. only subsoiler I know that is 6m is the lizard subsoiler 6m but there is an in game 3m combiplow however 3 meters on large corn field takes forever. no hitch on back of potato harvesters.

If you do a headland it should be perfect.

You got 12 mph while bailing if your tractor has enough power to pull the baler, I think speed with harvesters depends on the harvesters so you might not be saving much time with that if not you're wasting time

Ive been trying the second setup with the new holland and horsch seeder..... when then worker turns around he doesn't lower the header back down enough to harvest.....any ideas? Other than that it works!

Hey... total newb here... Why does every time I try to plant Cotton or Corn my worker doesn’t engage. I got the planter, the seed, the fertilizer, yet it won’t happen!

Check to see if you have enough fuel. I know it sounds weird but depending on what tractor and what equipment your using, they can really guzzle their gas away. Also you may need to see if any thing is stopping them. I.e rocks, tree limbs and other stuff as I've had this problem on Ravenport with field 26. And last, check to see if the worker has to buy the seed as that might be the problem. If none of those fix it, sorry. I see if I can recreate this scenario.

My Trailed Lifter doesn't hook up to my Harvester like this, anyone know why? Edit, SOLVED: I edited my Harvester xml file to change its "attachable point" from "trailer" to "trailerLow" (capital L in Low) because the "attachable point" on the Trailed Lifter is "trailerLow", worked like a charm!

The trailed lifter? It's for machinery without a 3 point attachment, you could also use the front lifter mod for PTO and attach it to the trailed lifter

8:20 nope, its not working - worker doesnt plant seeds. This works only manual.

A little late to the Party, but... If your Front Attachment is WIDER than the Back, then you won't run into Problems. If your Front and Back Attachment are THE SAME WIDTH, you cannot harvest the start of a Row. It just won't harvest, just like in your Video.

The game is too... sandboxy. You gotta really use your imagination to make a fun story for yourself. Going for maximum profit (hacking), you'd find many ways better than what people do in reality. Stealing NPC's crops, silage baling, ignoring soil enrichment, leasing, loans... So in the end it's actually pointless to go for efficiency since you gotta do things just for fun. If it's fun to you. If you enjoy working on fields, you don't really care for efficiency. If you just want money, there are other ways. The easiest being missions. I find it difficult to balance between relaxing and profit farming, I always slip into the extremes. If I relax, I don't wanna do stuff, I just watch the sunset, look at my harvester, wash it, run around... If I want profit, I set CoursePlay and, since I'm bored, I go watch some KZread. Which is kinda silly. Skipping 95% of the game is weird. Combining the 2 styles is very controversial. So, thinking about it, I'd say: if I want to speed up the process, it means I'm bored. If I'm bored, why am I doing this? There's no ladder, I use the best harvester from day 1. I lease since it's still better than using a cheap one. So it's not for getting better equipment, not for buying a mansion filled with cocaine, not to help the town... Then why? Only as a meditative process to have time for my own thoughts. Then the slower = the better. =)

It's no fun if you have to cheat in the game. If you farm like in real life then the game is a challenge but more than that it makes rewarding and fun.

This has never been classified as a 'hack'. It simply an exploit of the lacking of collision modeling and failure of recognition of the requirement of a proper PTO by the harvester in regards to the trailer for certain applicable equipment. Proper virtual and real farmers dont use fantasy ideas over reality.
