  It is a old way of harvesting wheat.back in the 70,60,50and into the mid 80,s they had to swath wheat do to the straw not strong enough to stand up when it was ripening .

  The new feature where the windrower is leaving the crop in rows to be harvested later is called swathing. Essentially swathing is done to make a crop ripen faster than if it were just left standing, sometimes as much as 2 to 3 weeks faster. This was featured on the FS 22 mod map Edgewater, Saskatchewan, and as a stand alone mod that could be added to any other map. Any straw crop such as wheat, barley, and oats, as well as canola and the Edgewater exclusive crop flax could be swathed. I wonder if canola is added to the crops that can be swathed in FS 25.

  No mika is wrong.both sugerbeets and sugar cane make refined white sugar.they also make brown sugar out of both.molass is a byproduct of the sugar refining process.

  IKR - and honestly its the best looking farm game out there by far. Its not perfect, but I love it. even 22 looks amazing in 4k.

  I dunno - elm creek was pretty good. I go to Amish Country at least once a year here in Ohio and Riverbend looks a LOT like that area, especially along the Tuscarawas river.

  Thanks for another video buddy and I heard ya lol. I deserve it to be real about it though. We just want it to be that big jump every time they announce it of course.... so we can use our toys right! Our 4k hdr's our new hardware and everything else right and immersion is everything in a sim... I'm not sure what could be more important than immersion. Thanks

  I think with the new upgraded textures 4k will make this game pop. I know at least with FS22 the game looked good on my old 1080p monitor, but when I jumped to my ultrawide 4k monitor it actually got WAY better looking. Its probably not noticable on KZread, but my veiw here in the studio is razer sharp. It looks amazing, so I think with the texture updates its gonna look amazing.

  yea, at 5:30 there is a lot of fog especially when it's almost 7 at night...like to be able to adjust that.

  Yeah, most games allow you to adjust settings like fog so you can probably turn it down or turn it off

  I work for Kuhn in real life so when I went back and started playing my old farm sim 17 it’s so much cooler to me now then it was to me when it came out…just wish we had Kuhn auger wagons because that’s what I weld at work lol botec 55-90’s all day baby

  @@Vbluguitar it can get over a hundred degrees in the summer but at the top 50 percent humidity only when it is raining.the rest of the time 20 percent humidity is the norm in the summer i have seen at the lowest in the winter about 10 degrees above zero

  Near me is a 1920 ALCO Consolidation 2-8-0. Beautiful engine, just had a firebox rebuild. So cool to see similar engines in game!

  I always put my tracker hotkeys on my joystick. I can toggle tracker on and off with 1 button as I really like looking around while in cruise but when taking off and landing I prefer no movement on the camera. Just a tip to help with your tracker issues.

  I forget what the issue was, but I have since fixed it. That is a good idea though!
