Move that battery from off the front suspension for the weight that you want and get a shorty pack for racing so that way you can reduce it

@@Dorkyand40 I totally understand that! When my car is running right I won’t even swap the sides the wheel nuts are on 😄

To control the power put your turbo position at 100% and a delay on your Advance timing .. it will be much smoother and just as quick

That’s where it’s at now. 100% and a .25 delay.

I got the same motor on a RX8 gen2 I'm looking to see wat pinion and wat set up u recommend me i been lost correctly running a 19 pinion on it need pointers

I like the cars they're cool I used to have a low C5 highly modified It was pretty awesome. I haven't seen you flying any drones lately have you given that hobby up for cars

Oh man. Chad i took your recommedation and bought a Fantom 2.5. Last one i think available online. I called up the small RC shop in Cali and they told me they had one last DRK160 drag race king they could sell me. This was today. Power out my league but i will detune. I am having a hard time finding a one tooth pinion😂😂😂 Love ypur videos bro🏁👊🏁

@@Dorkyand40 Somebody told me i would be playing a risky business running a 2.5t on the drk160 due to amp draw so i found a 3.5t maclan. I guess i will have to get a mamba monster x in the future for the 2.5t 🏁👊🏁

Have you ever used a fantom 3.0t v2 pro drag motor I just got one on a deal and wondering if it’s a good motor?

Hey man, Have you looked at the RJ Speed electric pro mod 2wd dragster kit? If so, is it competitive? Im looking to build a drag car over the winter and start racing next year. I know the 57 kits are competative as well as the modded slashs, DB10s and Losi 22s and then I saw this was curious to know how this would stack up against the main kits people are running

Hard to go against the grain right now. Either go with the dr10 or Losi or see what custom chassis shakes out to be the best.

i see you asked twice..but yes you can they sell a 3.5 drk motor

Is there another ESC that you would recommend beside the DRK as they are sold out everywhere

if you have a nicer radio like a higher end futaba or sanwa you can do the luanch trick in the radio and use any esc. but if not then the drk is the only esc that has the software that allows you to do this. its all about the software..the drk is not a super high end esc..its like all the rest..but the software is the key right now and nobody else seems to want to duplicate it

I have a drk in a dr10 and a mama monster 8s in my main car.

What size is the out put shafts. Just want to make sure I order the right pinion gear inner diameter?

Yeah you don’t want the 5mm. That’s for bigger 1/8-or larger scale motors.

That's what I was reading but I have a old CC sidewinder set up that runs a 5mm shaft. It came with a 4x4 1/10 losi truck i bought second hand.

But you're not using this motor still, right? I just got one on a recommendation, 3.5T with 13.5mm rotor and all the upgrades - but I haven't installed it yet. Kinda second-guessing myself on it.

3.5 with a drk but if you ever want anything else or to be really fast gonna need -3 or 2ish

i think the maclan drk is the best for ease of use and tuning right now. there might be more powerful escs out there but its hard to justify it vs easy tuning for the quickest gains before you move to something more advanced..what remote do you have?

You mention Ohio in your videos, I am from Ohio as well, Youngstown/Cleveland area... What area are you from and are racing in?? I really can't find many people racing near me ..
