*_"Maximus fails a speech check! 0/100"_* lol "A Boy And HIs Dog is a famous sicfi film from 1970s that is one of the main inspirations for the Fallout games, hence the poster ;) You can phone that number...

@@BAReactions Yeah it's a very dark dystopian, low budget movie, that had a big influence on many other films ;) So for this TV show they did a homage to it "A Man & His Dog" :P That's why "Dogmeat" is such a big character in Fallout, form "A Boy & His Dog" ~ Other Fallout influences are "Damnation Alley" (books very different than the film) And the superb novels "Hiero's Journey" and "Unforsaken Hiero" by Sterling E Lanier (which also had a big influence on Dungeons & Dragons) ~ And "Starship Troopers" (Heinlein) and "The Forever War" (Joe Haldeman)

The "A Man and His Dog" movie is possibly a clever Easter egg I never hear anyone talk about. There's a 1975 movie starring Don Johnson called "A Boy and His Dog" that's a post-apocalyptic adventure in a nuclear war-ravaged wasteland after WW3.

"President" Sorrell Booker is interesting. From his name and his physique hes probablg a reference to Sorrell Booke who played Boss Hogg in the tv show Dukes of Hazzard.

Probably my favorite episode of the season. Of course, that's largely because they just absolutely let Walton Goggins cook in this one, and I'm here for that as often as I can get it.

Hahah the Republic of Dave was a crazy place. I haven't played 3 in a few years now, I was annoyed because I had all the DLC for the GOTY edition on the 360, then I got the digital copy for the Xbox 1 but didn't get the DLC with it. So waiting till I have some spare doe to get the DLC's then 3 will be getting a replay.

ugh, tell me about it, was in the midnight line outside Gamestop to pick up my lunchbox copy in '08. Played the shit out of it.. Years later I bought the GOTYE and couldn't use Sprintmod anymore. Pissed me right off. Could still use it in NV though ; ). Why they didn't have sprinting to begin with is kind of a head scratcher, and why they didn't incorporate that mechanic later on after Skyrim is even more so, but I guess it's Bethesda's MO to let the fans fix it for them. Enjoyed the reaction as always, sorry for the rant ; ).

The comments about shady sands really pain me. :( How can you know so much about the Fallout world and yet be so clueless about the first two games? The foundation of everything. Shady sands was the most important town in the franchise.

@@BAReactions Fallout #1 and 2 are "old school" but still fun, especially #2 :) #2 really needs modded with the "Unofficial patch" to fix so much #2 is especially good but brutal and difficult. Some really hilariously dark or utterly mad stuff in it as well, especially with the "Wild Wasteland" trait :P
