    So, once Mazey kills herself, any of her victims that survive the attack & their wounds will become the new werewolves in that community. That'll certainly increase then decrease the tourist trade. Ah well, it's all cyclical. 👱‍♀🐺

    This is a really good episode for what it is but to me it doesn't really feel like a black mirror episode outside of the "people are inherently bad" it feels more like an episode of the show supernatural or something along those lines.

    I'm glad you came back to Fargo. Yes, season 2 is my favorite and season 1 was already a stroke of genius, but 3 and 4 are still better than most of what else is out there. All the seasons are very different and most people would rather have more of what they liked than have to keep going back to something new. Fortunately, like me, you don't seem to have a problem with that, so you'll enjoy seasons 3 and 4 as well. 👍

    Happy you loved it. Indeed Varga is a villain that rivals the ones in season's 1 and 2, he is brilliant as he is revolting and there's more to his character in the end than you think. The role of the opening scene will take some patience. I'm now seeing this season for the second time and liking it way more than originally. I vaguely remember having some issues with pacing in some episodes and storyline tangents that I had some issue with, but eager to see how it will turn out this time. I do recall that to me this was by far the darkest season, especially near the end. The police lady is one of my favourite actresses. She blew me away in her role in The Leftovers, which is a tv show that is to me the epitomy of underrated, though very tough to watch at times, but absolutely brilliant. The actress I think is not so great in this Fargo season as on The Leftovers, but enough to be memorable if memory serves. Anyway, kudos for Ewan McGregor who I have not been much of a fan of in everything he did, but this season with the double role, he knocks it out of the park, twice.

    highly doubt ecko was sponsoring this show, it was just one of the many dominate streetwear brands for black americans at that time. a lot of the praise for this show has been retroactive, they were on the verge of getting cancelled every season, they went into every one thinking it would be their last.

I would love for you to react to a show called Penny Dreadful (a totally different genre), if you haven’t seen it yet. V M Varga is honestly my favorite but so is Malvo, like Malvo is the physical and Varga is the mental, they are simply peak villainy in their lane of expertise, they both love to talk as well but I think if they were a team Varga would probably be the tasker or planner but that is no shade to Malvo's thinking

    Nice! I'm psyched you're watching season 3, this might be my favorite season but it is hard to choose a favorite between the first three because they're so different and great in their own ways.

  • @CHAOSGOLM
    @CHAOSGOLM3 күн бұрын

    That's the thing, each season differs slightly, Malvo being a one man army, Lester being an underdog gone power hungry, Mike being a formidable underboss, Hanzee a lethal henchman, and Varga being an enigma, they each add a similar element in different ways the way the lead cops add a similar element differently, it's not 3 Malvos or 3 Solversons (2 actually being related) they get their men differently as well with the 2nd not even having 1 particular target, imo being arguably the most capable, he doesnt get any of his targets

  • @skateandgeekout
    @skateandgeekout3 күн бұрын

    @@CHAOSGOLM yea, it feels like comparing apples to oranges, but there are some similarities, a competent cop, some incompetent ones, 2 hitmen, a supernatural/unexplained mystery, etc. But to me season 3 is the most thought provoking, there is something going on about certainty and uncertainty... and also fate or coincidence, I've watched this season multiples times and each time I pick up a little bit more when it comes to those themes but I shouldn't say too much this early on.

    It would make sense that Chavez would still have a smooth face as cinematic stereotype would like us to believe that native Americans don’t grow facial hair. They do, but it is believed that they plucked them out, keeping smooth faces. Idk if that’s true, but Hollywood insist that we believe that native Americans naturally don’t grow it.

    It would’ve been cool if they incorporated the fact that Russian or I guess more accurately Soviet cosmonauts used to and maybe still do take a weird survival type gun/pistol thing (I think it changed to a different model but the original was a weird but cool shotgun/rifle combo) because unlike the US where back then our guys landed in the ocean the Soviets would often land somewhere in bumfuck nowhere Siberia with wolves n bears n shit and had to survive until rescuers came so they had a legit use for the gun but I imagine it made our guys a bit uneasy during co op missions during the end of the Cold War and beginning of multinational space missions like the space station and stuff since I don’t think we ever took weapons up there publicly even though I imagine someone probably gave them something just in case lmao

    my great uncle Richard Barella died on Iwo Jima, much like Sgt. Basilone. He was a BAR gunner and got a posthumous Silver Star. if you'll allow for me to copy and paste the citation: The President of the United States of America takes pride in presenting the Silver Star (Posthumously) to Private First Class Richard Barella (MCSN: 54793), United States Marine Corps Reserve, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity as an Automatic Rifleman, serving with Company C, First Battalion, Ninth Marines, THIRD Marine Division, in action against enemy Japanese forces on Iwo Jima, Volcano Islands, 7 March 1945. With his squad waging a fierce attack against well-entrenched, heavily armed enemy forces, Private First Class Barella voluntarily crawled to an exposed position in order to fire more effectively upon the fanatic Japanese and, pouring a deadly stream of rifle fire on the hostile position, succeeded in annihilating two machine guns with their crews and in silencing still another enemy weapon. By his steadfast determination, indomitable fighting spirit and unfaltering devotion to duty in the face of strong opposition, Private First Class Barella enabled his squad to achieve its objective, and his courage throughout upheld the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.

    Josh Hartnett has matured into a handsome man and Aaron Paul is also good looking. Both of their characters were quite intense; I can imagine their astronaut selves docking now and then. 😜 Hey, I am gay, after all. He-he-he-he Seriously, I have to admit I've never watched Black Mirror except for these edited clips you post on your channel, so I need to ask, did these guys report to any central control, space agency or company? They seemed to beam down into their robot version at will without any supervision or request. If this world/society had that kind of technology, why not send the robots into space and have the astronauts control them from earth or whatever world this was. And, as you said, why wouldn't Josh, after beaming into Aaron's robot go seek out his friends, remaining family members or colleagues instead of hanging on the farm? I still like my idea about the docking though. I'm a bad boy.

    I love the confirmation that Lucy DID feel the ACTUAL SUN baking her skin when she was little & with her mom. Yeah, Cooper said he wore the T-45 or whatever when he was fighting and "almost lost Alaska" etc when he was talking to Bud at the party. I'm also glad that the show put to rest whether or not Maximum was the one who put the razor blade in the boot & the guy confessed he did it because he was afraid of going to the Wilds & didn't think Maximus would get the blame.

    Yeah it was a strange thing to keep us wondering whether he had did it or not, especially since the way episode 1 was filmed they were clearly suggesting it was him by showing his motivation before it happened. But also cool he didn't do it, but I wouldn't have hated Maximus if he had done it either. I'd just assume he'd grown as a character over the course of season 1.

    Personally i was hoping for a little more from Lucy's dad. Hank basically just did what he did because he was a huge egomaniac that got butthurt. In the game the storyline probably would have been that he destroyed them because they were threatening the survival of their vaults; maybe make the water supply something that cant support both of them or something. I love how the games tend to make every decision have a shitty tradeoff to it which would have been appreciated here at the end with Hank. Either way great first season. Based on all the lore Vault Tec mostly definitely had their own nuclear weapons but ultimately China launched first. They beat vault tec to the punch and caught them off guard. This tracks with the show having Cooper with his daughter when the bombs dropped instead of with her Mom safe and secure in a vault ready for D-Day. Hoping in season two we get a Thaddeus super mutant, cooper vs a deathclaw, more creepy vault stories to discover, all the new vegas goodness, and so much more. Cant wait!

  • @PacificEgg

    Some good observations! They have to have at least a Deathclaw encounter in Season 2, but I actually think they shouldn't kill one in Season 2. A Deathclaw should be seen as almost unkillable in the show IMO, so maybe they can just figure out how to escape it next season. They by season 5 or suttin when someone actually kills one it will be the most epic thing ever, Whereas killing one next season the very first time we see it, kinda devalues the single most powerful natural enemy in the wasteland.

    I agree, if the roomba brain threatened me with locking me inside, I'd find a pipe and start smashing the cryotubes, and afterward, I'd smash the roomba brain too just to make sure their bizarre plan to take over the world didn't happen. Norm has proven he's a good hacker so I believe he'd figure out how to get out of the vault. As for Maximus, he keeps failing... upward. He was accused of injuring his friend, yet he was promoted to squire. He failed at his mission to return the head, his knight died, and yet he was chosen to lead this new BOS internal revolution by the scribe. Moldaver dies, and he's hailed as her hero killer and likely promoted to knight status. His luck is 10+. Great show, great reaction. Looking forward to season 2. "According to Amazon executives Vernon Sanders and Jennifer Salke, Fallout is "really far ahead" with season 2's production, meaning the show could return way sooner than expected. Fallout season 2's release update also revealed a script was ready, which indicates that filming may be around the corner."

    15:32 the crazy thing is that there's been multiple instances where US and/or Russia almost nuked each other but literally 1 low level person prevented it by going against protocol. 1 instance was where a Russian submarine captain or officer was for some reason on a different sub than normal and their protocol was something like 'if you lose communication with the motherland for more than a day then the officers shall presume the motherland has been destroyed and shall vote to launch the nukes at america in retaliation' and they lost communication for I think several days then 2 officers voted to launch the nukes but that 1 dude that wasn't even supposed to be there voted against it and literally saved millions-billions of lives. There's been a LOT of instances like that but what's even crazier is the 'Broken Arrow" incidents which are basically where we literally lost a nuke... Yeah there's literal nukes just chilling all over the place that were lost when a plane disappeared or had engine trouble and had to drop their payload or any number of things and as a result haven't been found (at least not by those we would want to find them), if you want lose some sleep look it up on youtube lmao I would recommend the channel "the fat electrician" both for the broken arrow video and just in general cause the dude is funny af
