i think it'd be really cool if the regular ghoul transformation was made for full health and made you immune you rads, while having a glowing one transformation perhaps tied to mutations that allows bloodied builds to lock their health below 20

I don't think we have seen a single non feral glowing ghoul so far. They might change that, of course, wouldn't be the first time Fallout ret-con something (it's a staple since FO2 ret-con of Vaults). But they would need an explanation for it, as currently the lore suggest that the more "ghoulish" you are, the more you lose your mind. Glowing ghouls are the top of then ghoul tier list. Full health needs help too. Bloodied is already too powerful

@@gustavotriqui well.... if players want it, and Bethesda wants people to keep spending money, it will happen (sadly) because players think that their characters should never follow the game universe's rules or lore

Makes me think of that old MMO fallout game that never came out. You could start as a Vault dweller, ghoul, raider or super mutant if I remember correctly

I’m hoping for some kind of proto-super mutant form. Being a full on super mutant would be kind of funky to make work. Same here hopefully ng for variations

I wish it wasn't just fallout 76 I Enjoy fallout 4 more because you can make it more interesting with mods. plus adding one last goodbye dlc where you turn into a ghoul would have been cool. then the brotherhood and the institute would look at you differently, Same for diamond city.

Can you imagine Tyr, that the good pistol and shotgun perks (like giving shotguns armor pen) are locked away behind Ghoulification. Thats gonna make me laugh so much.

I have been burnt out on this game for a long while and usualy i just come back for the new season and as soon as i am done with it i quit again. With the latest season changes i decided its not worth it anymore and i truley thought i quit for good this time. And then they drop this. Becoming a ghoul has been at the top of my wishlist since Fallout 3. DAMN YOU TOD HOWARD!

Cool ... the only Fallout game, where you could play as ghoul was Fallout Tactics ... although only unlockable with a mod. They also had special ghoul only perks there.

So you can't play as a ghoul in Tactics. That's like saying "I can play as a ghoul in Fallout 4, but only with a mod"

@@hermos3602 No, sorry - thats not what I meant. In Fallout 4 there is no option to play as Ghoul, so you need a mod to add this option. In Fallout Tactics you can play with Ghoul recruits, but you only get them after a certain point in the story (same for Supermutant, Robot and Deathclaw recruits). There is a mod that unlocks this option also for your starting recruits (normally only Human recruits are available at the start). Everything related to playing as Ghoul is already part of the base game in Fallout Tactics and does not need to be added by a mod.
