What do you think of the Radiation weakness on these bosses? I think it’s a hilarious mistake, but is quite fun.

Yeah I found the bots just vaporized

Takes longer to launch the nuke than to finish the event.

I used Xerxo’s lvl 15 from forever ago with full health using quick hands and it worked easily 😂Great explanation btw! 😃

Thank you so much for the explanation! I've been wondering how such a colossal coding error could happen, since this didn't seem like a simple flipped-switch kind of error, but I can see now that it is.

And there I was, thinking maybe they borrowed that math genius from activision who decided adding 40% extra to 1000 equals ... 1040! But no, Bugthesda still has top-tier coders who forget a keyword here and there. And then take 6 months to add it, because pressing a couple of buttons is an excruciating activity. I was contemplating to return abit to 76 and see what's the fuss with the map expansion, but then I see bloodied builds again and again and I remember one of the reasons I put it aside and played smarter games. I don't know how some folks find it fun to kiss the floor every few minutes,but hey, to each their own. Glad to see you're back and also glad to see Bugthesda never changes.

Would be funny if instead of giving them proper rad resist, BGS gives them a version of radicool that increases their strength and speed, allowing them to one-shot players in quick succession.

Definitely wanted to try this before it gets patched like the gamma gun, I’m always late to glitches or exploits so damn right I was doing it this time xD

I appreciate the emphasis on doing this on a private server.

I both like and dislike this bug. I like it for speed and letting me get back to xp farming or whatever I am doing at the time of a nuke. But yet I also hate it, I get buffed up, maybe switch a build, armor up maybe. But no all of that is for nothing when a few people and now many people know of this bug, making the whole prep useless.

tyr could you make a gauss shotgun build? you’re the only person who’s builds i trust and wanting to try the gun

2 outcomes I have experienced, 1 Bethesda has taken it down or 2 player's have got bored over 3 day's and a lot of server jumping I have come to this conclusion and Dangerous Pastimes is going off

Afaik it won’t work that well on public because of the lag. Some people tried and thought it was already patched

Got a quad ffr dropped this morning and it went good shortly after i modded it then later it did not do so well. But the server started getting squirlly so lag probably got in the way.

So that’s how it was done? Interesting

What are the stats/build of the chainsaw?

Wonder when somebody’s gonna upload all of the voice lines of the Storm Goliaths.

I seen a guy on fallout 76 yesterday successfully nuke the robots in a few hits. I think this glitch still works.

The best is the auto axe with the overly generous perk. The gamma gun is a lot less effective comparatively.

I dont know why people automatically assume this isnt supposed to work this way on these enemies, its Bethesda, they like like using their players to test out new ideas without telling players, unless Bethesda says these weapons arent meant to take down the giant robots this fast the we shouldnt care, its not like they havent been ok keeping other op things in game as long as it doesnt completely break the game and this radiation damage thing is also confined to a simple event, why would they waste resources trying to figure out a way to patch it out

It's not even a patch; it's just resetting one data flag.

interesting, I noticed something was up with the bosses, the people going this have been letting everybody else get their hits in though, community is good like that; at about half ways down the health bar the bosses just die at the moment, though it was some kind of exploit/bug.

Chainsaw or AutoAxe with Vampires, so you don't drop dead from the first hit. Main perks Slugger (+expert & master), Incisor, Overly Generous & Ricochet. Preferrably 50/50 radiated and you can solo the event under two minutes.

Gotta love that they fix this faster than the constant crashes on ps5🙄

Server lag on public servers makes the gamma gun not work, the auto axe and chainsaw work fine

Remember when you could stay in passive and kill people with the gamma gun? It’s like they forget radiation exists in the nuclear radiated wasteland.

Yeah same with me I used a 2SFFR gamma gun with deep dish mod and it didn’t do shit maybe took of 1% of health and definitely not a quarter chunk at a time 😂

lol I did this twice with my quad but I stopped because it ruins it kinda. Some guy was like really tripped out about it!

I love how much ammo I'm saving with this glitch, I love rolling up to collect 3 legendaries and leave, quick games a good game

The lag on a public server makes it harder to do damage that quickly. The auto-melee weapons are significantly more effective, even with only a tiny amount of rads on your meter.

I tried it with one of the gamma guns and the damn thing laughed at me The guy beside me gamma gun the thing and I dropped it like a wet fart through jeans. So where did I go wrong is it my build or something.

I only use the glitch to kill the 2 of them and then kill the last one normally. private server

It's going to get patched anyway so I'll share this extra method! Nuke north of the region so the circle kind of covers the event, this causes a real Nuka blast zone that overlaps the boss arena! Then use the 2nd nuke to nuke the boss properly! the Nuka zone itself will equally kill all 3 bosses at the same time, but is slow enough for you to get some hits in.

A quad FFR gamma gun will destroy one without reloading

Public servers have a weird desync that can almost negate the rad DMG from gamma guns and radium rifles, if you use a chainsaw or auto ace with the overly generous perk on you'll have no trouble doing this on public servers.

Quad 25% faster fire rate gamma gun go BRRRRRR ☢️

It's doesn't harm other players, it saves them ammo, and they get all drops. Win win. With all the bugs we have had to deal with, this one is a good one for players. As for a queen fight tho, stop killing it so quickly. That's where you can earn a ton of xp from all the other enemies that spawn during the event. The longer the queen is alive, the more enemies you can tag.

​@@AbuGandalf This is from latest patch notes (Skyline valley update notes) : "- Fixed an issue with the Damage Reduction effect on the Endangerol Barrel that allowed it to stack multiple times on a target." i have not tested this but how i interpret it is that stacking meaning multiple players using Endangerol on single target no longer stack, at least im not aware if there was some other method for stacking it other than multiple players.

@HuiHaiZ yes only 1 dart effects the enemy, no matter how many people shoot.

Overly Generous only works with melee attacks. Gamma gun for example works just as well with full health and no rads on the player

Radiation damage would damage robots tho.

If it is an exploit, and bethesda tracks what we do, they will know who is taking advantage of it, and those doing so could earn at least a temp ban.

"try doing it in a private server" you realize not everyone can afford to pay 12$ a month for one game, or they dont want to.
