This place reminded me of the Overlook Hotel from the Shining! Kept expecting to see the twin girls in one of the hallways lol. This should be really cool in Fallout. Love the pool area.

Thats exactly how I felt going from hallway to hallway. I wonder how they would have felt if I rode a big wheel down there? lol :) I havent made it here yet in Fallout, I cant wait to compare

Wow out of all the vids I've seen so far of this place yours was more detailed with showing inside & out. I live in the Appalachia region in VA I'm only a few hours from greenbrier resort. I'm currently exploring whitesprings resort in fallout 76 it's amazing to see how close to the smallest details Bethesda created in the game. I'm thinking of setting up a second camp there you know for vacationing from ghoul & mutant slaying 😄 sure is a good place to rack up on caps & exp I collect everything I can then sell most back to the vendors 🤭 caps rack up fast that way then I can afford a few things I need 😆 Great video new subscriber!

Thank you for the kind words. I tried to take advantage of living in West Virginia with Fallout 76 being set here. I know my ultimate plan was to try and do 76 videos total for the location series. I still have several videos to edit in the backlog. (Dolly Sods, Clarksburg, Charleston area). I wanted to really get out and do Camden Park, but Covid hit so some things was placed on the backburner. (I want to do Camden Park, during Halloween since I can also hit the pumpkin house in the area as well). I really love playing FO76 and wish the game didnt get a bad rep.

The Greenbrier Resort did not disappoint. Every inch was beautiful, inside and out. Glad I could smell the dead animal since you couldn't lol. Christmas shop was very nice. Coal house was different.

It was a better experience than the one down Duke University. I still dont know what kind of animal that was.

It was very nice to stay. I thought the room was too big. When we finally decided to go to bed and watch TV, the TV was too far away to watch comfortably. We're not much of gambler's, so we were maybe in the Casino for less than a half hour. I would recommend anyone to try this resort at least once if they come to WV....it does have a different feel to it.

As a history teacher, this video content is cool to watch!

It was pretty neat seeing this in person. There was a ton we didn’t see inside. Its pretty amazing how something this grand is in our little state of West Virginia.

I sounded like a little kid when we drove up to it for the first time. It is one of the prettiest structures I have ever seen. It's better in person.

This place is beautiful. So glad you 2 got to stay there. Andy is loving the game.

It's immaculate. I'm sure there is plenty we missed. I know I couldnt film near the casino. We were big spenders - 10 bucks lol

@@TheMadNomadder You should let me know when you're in the area, maybe we could meet up. There is a great little breakfast place just down the road from the Historical Pioneer village there in Tres Pinos, CA. called Flapjacks. San Juan Bautista is also an interesting little town with one of the old Missions, a great cemetery and quaint little shops. I've heard of an old ghost town somewhere nearby that I would like to explore, but, not on my own. Just a thought, glad you stumbled on to my channel.

what an amazing place! I bet it was very expensive to stay at but well worth it. So much to see and do, there is no reason to leave. I love that it even has a casino. I am still trying to figure out what the hell that dead animal is, aint no squirrel lol wonderful video. Very classy place. Need to stay there

I have been busy with playing Fallout 76 the past couple days, I knew I needed to come on here and reply back to comments. lol This place was amazing. I felt out at place going in since I knew it was a suit/tie place and when we came in we were in Jeans/sweatshirt because we went all over WV, but afterwards it was pretty nice. No one looked at us weird taking pictures/videos. The staff here was super nice. I recorded a lot, but that is nothing. This place is huuuuuuuge. I think we missed out on a lot. I'm still not sure what that dead animal was. lol

It definitely was. Everyone was very polite there. It reminded us of how things were in the 1930's. We loved the nostalgia of it.

7:22 those stairs... but worst of all those rooms don't open lol

Well fortunately I traded in about 200 of those caps and they used a transfer rate in one of the vending machines to supply me with old world money. Still trying to figure out where I put those bobby pins at.
