My mom is 90. I take my iPad to her house. She loves Megan’s videos. My dad passed away last month so this keeps my mom’s mind occupied on something nice for awhile. They were married 70 years. I hope you are doing well. I wish you the best.

Once or twice a year we do what we call park-hopping. We go about an hour away from home and stop at every park in between. We choose a different route each time. My kids are 8 and 10 and still enjoy it! We usually take a picnic lunch and make a day of it!

Evonie knows more about coffee sizes than I do. I just got schooled by a 3 year old.

Oh my goodness. I'm just over halfway through my first pregnancy. I thrifted a pair of checkered overalls and I wore them w leggings and hot pink crocks today. I asked hubby if I looked ok or like a little rascal and he assured me I was cool. Now I see that I am indeed rocking a 3 year old's outfit!

I laughed when Fletcher put his cup cake liner in the muffin tin and Evonnie promptly took it back out. She's adorable. Please be careful (and aware) of your surroundings when you go out walking. Girls, women (and children) are going missing more and more. If you don't already have one, it might be wise to get an emergency alert device to stash in your pocket or attach to your key chain. I read about Linda Stoltzfoos on social media. I only realised she was from Lancaster County after the main suspect was arrested for kidnapping (her body has not been found yet) . It’s sad to see that there are sick, evil people even out in what seems to be a wholesome part of America.

Megan I lived in southern Lancaster from age 7 to 49. Then we moved to FL. I thought about your safety when you and the kids were walking around that lake or pond in your one video. When you are doing a video your attention is focused on that. Yes, I agree. Be really careful!

I was your age when my daughter was your daughter's age. I remember how active I used to be, always getting coffee and window shopping. I look back and now think it was for my sanity. I could never keep up that lifestyle nowadays. Children have a way of creating introverts, and now I'm one of them!

Love the Main Street Boutique clothes you purchased, especially those dresses!! Their prices are so much better than I was expecting. Going to be calling them tomorrow for recommendations on a skirt for a shorter person. Great video: the music while making the donut holes took me back to the 80s.

Main Street Exchange looks like a great store! Loved that your Pinterest list was modest and doable. Looks like the kids loved helping with the donuts. Not sure which tasted better, but the ones with the cinnamon and sugar coating LOOKED better. My brother had his own restaurant so love to see boys get involved too. What a beautiful place to take walks. Love that there is a paved walk next to a huge grassy area. Love your month's goal. Bet the kids love that. Re clothes: You can definitely handle the scarf and you will be surprised how it cuts down on chills and colds. Not sure you showed the clothes in their best light because the shoes kind of fought the look or a t shirt underneath didn't flatter it.. How about a shoe buying video? Have never seen your variation on a smores. How did everone like it?

There is a you tube site called Six Sisters. They have a recipe called pumpkin poppers. You just mix spice cake mix and pumpkin together and refrigerate 30 minutes then you are to roll a spoon full into balls dip them into melted butter and place into a mini muffin tin bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes when done dust with powdered sugar

The very light baby blue skirt you were wearing in the beggining of the video looked so familiar ... and then i realised i just got the same one! Got mine in the navy green , i love it !

Lol! At first I thought you were just going to eat the bacon dogs as is. I'm like, must be a Mennonite thang and I just don't understand! Then you had a fire. I am so impressed. Delicious. I might do that on my next camp trip. I live within city limits so I cannot have a fire. But I imagine I could do this at a park. As a welcome to Fall! I absolutely feel inspired by your creativity and gumption. I am so happy to watch you and Josh raise the children and grow into each "season of life" as you so aptly put. I don't think I have ever seen a husband and wife so exuberant and gifted. I do not have a family of my own so watching yours helps me see what it's like.

I love pinterest. I have found some Walnut Creek stuff here in Central North Carolina. My hubs loves the butter and i do to. Found another store this weekend in Mt. airy NC. where I'm from. Didn't get to ck it out but I am next time. Stay safe and don't wk to hard.

I used to use Pinterest a lot but I find most of the posts now almost unusable because of the pop up ads and auto plays in the middle of recipes. You have to scroll through so much to get to ingredients and cooking times. I’ve also had some fails that came from poorly constructed recipes and I can usually spot them now before I even try. I’m back to good old trusted cookbooks and Taste of Home magazines. You can never go wrong.
