I love this!!! Being an older PA student, I constantly feel pressure to do well, get good grades, and prove to everyone in the school that I deserve to be here. Because of that, I have spent my first two semesters in PA school with this constant fear of impending doom, that if I fail a test, it means I am dumb, I am a disappointment to my family and the program, and that the program made a mistake when they chose me to attend their school. There needs to be more videos like this out there to encourage struggling students and to let them know they are not alone. It's great that my professors did well in school and passed all their exams, but when I am struggling and everything seems like it is too much to handle, hearing that others who made it through felt the same way and still became PAs is very encouraging.

I’m glad the video was helpful Mary! Most people have to remediate at least one exam, and everyone struggles at some point in PA school. Some people struggle the whole way through and still graduate, pass the PANCE, and become PAs. Just take it one exam at a time, do your best, and ask for help when needed.
