What's the most important part of your application to medical school, physician assistant (PA) school, nurse practitioner (NP) school, MBA, grad school, etc??? Is it GPA, experience, the application itself, or the personal statement? There's not right answer here, but I think that the personal statement is arguably the most important. And even if it's not, the personal statement is the only part of your application that you currently have any control over... everything else is more or less set and you can't change it much today. But taking the time to write and EXCELLENT personal statement WILL set you apart. In this video, I read the personal statement that got me into a very competitive PA program and I hope that using my statement as an example will help you write something that you're proud of.
