If you’re feeling intimidated by the Casper test, you’re not alone. And we’re here to help.
In this video, we’ll discuss why some schools require the Casper test and how your scores are evaluated. Most importantly, we’ll give you three unique sample Casper questions and answers you can use to practice. To get the most out of this video, make sure you’re sitting down, able to type, taking your time, and giving us your full attention. We’ll have you pause the video after each scenario to answer the practice questions, then we’ll compare responses. The Casper only marks on what you did answer and not on what you couldn’t. If you can’t answer all 3 questions but you answered 1-2 of the questions fully. They score you on the 2 with a chance of still scoring full marks. Remember, the Casper wants you to answer the question fully with insight rather than see how fast you can type. Hope this helps!!

I think it's possible, so long as you have that framework of what you're going to say in mind. The general concept of empathy, compassion, no assumptions, inquiring about different perspectives, etc. can be discussed immediately and prepared beforehand with some editing to fit the specific scenario. If you can type more than 50-60 words per minute, then you're ok. I'm typing around 110-120 wpm and can fit in half a word doc of 11pt font, single spaced, in under five minutes.

@@simrankaur1739 Definitely go over this video a few times, do the practice casper questions, and try your best to display empathy first and foremost. In the video he talked about talking to the cheating friend in private. Little things like that go along way. Expressing you would want person X to feel comfortable. Expressing how you would listen to another person's point of view while refraining from judgement. I even went over some of the practice questions with my friends and critiqued their responses to then add/enhance mine. If you can figure out what not to do, it helps. You need to type in the key words to pass...and of course the only way to know the key words is having a trusting friend that has taken a Casper workshop share them with you or taking an expensive Casper workshop to gain access to the key words. The Casper company does not have to reveal how Casper is marked under trade secret like KFC recipe chicken...but everybody knows that it is marked using AI tech...otherwise why would you fail if you don't have the key words this hints to tech programming that is similar to job site tech programs like Indeed that looks for key words or they don't forward your resume on to the employer...etc.

Would it have been valid in the third question of the first scenario if we said something along the lines of counseling and educating each of the culpable students, taking more of a rehabilitationalist approach as opposed to a punitive approach? I specifically mentioned discounting previous assignments and replacing them with new ones. Or does CASPer emphasize taking the more punitive measures like reporting all the wrongdoers irrespective of the circumstances.

No matter what you response, it's important to discuss various considerations. Adcoms are looking to learn now just your "decision" but also how you came to it. Therefore, spell out your thought process to win those additional points. It's like a math problem--you can get partial credit if you show your work, even if your final answer isn't 100% correct.

Maybe, as a professor, I need to change the way I teach to make the content more approachable. However, I also made sure to include some of the other content that the video mentioned. I guess we just have to be super quick thinkers and typers to nail all parts of this exam.

"Threaten cheater/rat cheater out, then get involved with cheater in some advisory/advocacy capacity if they confess their trivial sin that carries a potentially career ending consequence"-----Can you imagine if another student threatened to have your career destroyed before it even began? That is NOT the kind of threat I have any interest in making towards somebody, that in itself could very well be life threatening. It's the schools responsibility to maintain academic integrity, not vigilante students. I'm gonna put my life or wellbeing on the line so this little ethical violation can be prosecuted, that's insane. Without knowing what this test is actually looking for, this information is basically useless.
