Failed First Year of Medical School & Repeating? The STATMed Study Skills Class was created for YOU.

If you failed your first year of medical school and you’re planning to repeat the year, let me ask you, what’s going to make this experience different?
As the old saying goes, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.
We can help! Visit our study skills class page: statmedlearning.com/statmed-study-skills-class/ for more info!
The STATMed Class provides a terrific opportunity for you to return to school as an all-new, all-different student, equipped with a wide array of study, time management, and test-taking skills, specifically designed for learning in the firehose that is medical school.
We aim to put you back fully in charge of how you learn, study, maximize your time and show what you know on exams to make all your hard work pay off.
If that’s what the STATMed Class can do, then that all warrants expecting different results, doesn’t it? Our summer sessions will be filling up, so check out the available sessions below, then watch the video for answers as to why the STATMed Class can help you.

In this video, I highlight SEVEN reasons why you might consider taking the STATMed Class if you failed your first year of med school and plan on repeating.
Number one: no one teaches smart med students HOW to study. This is a systematic flaw. But the good news is, it's not too late to learn robust and effective new ways to study in med school with this STATMed Class.
Number two: the STATMed Class is built exactly for your situation. It’s a rigidly built ten-day program that I’ve been developing & refining for over fifteen years. Based in learning science and patterns, we’ve discovered how and why med students who struggle can develop and use skills to become super-successful.
Number three: what we call the Speed-Volume-Density equation, where there is so much coming at you, so fast, and you’re responsible for ALL OF IT in a very short amount of time! Any student who completes this class will have the tools to better manage the inescapable speed-volume-density equation of med school, which is a critical part of why our STATMed Class students are often so successful when returning to med school life.
Number four: we ONLY work with students when they’re NOT taking classes, so either over the summer, over the semester break, or when they’re on a leave of absence preparing to repeat when school re-starts several months down the line.
Number five: we equip struggling students so they're in charge of their own learning, regardless of the school’s curricular design or redesign. That’s a huge part of what we’re offering to do in The STATMed Class! And that’s exciting, isn’t it?
Number six: the STATMed Class can be an opportunity to turn previous failure into an asset: What do I mean? You've been through the mixer and you know your biggest challenges. Whether it's the speed-volume-density equation, or feeling overloaded by a whole day of lectures, coming out exhausted, frustrated, and feeling like you’re starting from scratch -- we can fix that!
Number seven: I’m not offering empty promises. Taking this class won't make med school easy- it's not meant to be easy! And I think my students historically have understood this. What we are teaching are very mechanistic skills. We know what we’re doing, we understand the gauntlet you face, and what we offer is the chance to give each student his or her best chance to show their best selves when they go back.
So, in summary, STATMed Class is a great opportunity for almost any medical student who failed first year and plans to repeat.
