    Do not Judge him for what he knows. He's a writer and he's only writing on what he knows. Remember,it's different strokes for different folks. Your an impeccable and good writer Khaled Housseini and i believe in you. But i'm not the only person on the world, so you got to sharpen your facts and be straight and graceful to your critics. By the way I'm Asian.=)

    Best writer ever! When I saw the name Khaled Hosseini in the book, for I knew nothing about the kite runner. I'm a Moroccan, thus an Arab. Nevertheless, got so frustrated when I saw the Arabic name which belongs to an Afghani writer so perfect and so fascinating which later I discover. Khaled, really, I really wanta thank you from the very bottom of my heart for the journey I travelled with you in a land I used to know nothing about. Now I know a great deal

    A very heartbreaking movie. Remind me of bits and pieces of suffering of Afghan people, especially children's, I saw in my training as children's doctor in Pakistan. The movie brings me flashbacks of appalling situation there were left to live.

    Get your facts right, Zahir Shah was fluent in Pashto, Persian and French. How can you say someone as important as him doesn't know Afghanistan's official and national language?

    @bedil555 I can't reply until you learn some English first. I didn't understand a word you were saying. I don't know how Islam got into this, frankly I don't think I've mentioned it at all. I'd appreciate the people (Pashtuns) who have allowed so many ethnic minorites like yourself to live in their land.

    This comment section really surprised me. Why is there this huge discussion about Khaled Hosseini's nationality? How does it matter? This man is using his fame for a cause to help the Afghans! Shouldn't you be happy? And help him in his quest? C'mon!

    @kayhan213 : Yes it is really a myth because Khaled Hossaini`s grand father came from Iran. The stupid Pashtun king zaher shah appointed him as consul in Afghan embassy in Paris. What he did in return he fabricated a story and showed his ancesters enmity with Pashtun people. But don`t worry what goes round comes round.

    Which Abdul Rahman are you talking about? Are speaking of that Tajik who converted into Christianity. Because I'm pretty sure there is no other Abdul Rahman that "opressed Hazara's for centuries" as you've claimed, once again with no proof.

  • @AFGFreya
    @AFGFreya14 жыл бұрын

    @bedil555 Afghanistan [meaning "Land of the Pashtuns"] belongs to Pashtuns. How can you say it's your country when you have your own named Tajikstan, Uzbekistan etc. You're obviously in denial.

  • @funnyandcute
    @funnyandcute16 жыл бұрын

    I am not tajik, pashtoon,uzbek,neither hazara but why all this hillarias comments are nessacety by the way I don't know why afg people always have in their minds just the racialism biologically we all are human being and please stop this nonsense conversation and be proud that afg people are moving on if afg's majority people live in USA or europe,they just have been exiled and have better life even though they are trying to help people if not stragers at least their relatives.

    My friend, search the internet. People have a profound interest in Afghanistan and have studied it. They shall know more about it than you ever will. You've claimed more things than hedayat but you have provided him with no proof, instead you base your "facts" on a fictional book. But you are right to an extent, that 60% of Afghanistan includes Tajiks, Uzbeks and Hazara's however compare that to 40% Pashtuns.

  • @januskhan
    @januskhan13 жыл бұрын

    @zeuspin : No this is not true he is 100% bigot. He has got problem with Pashtun people and the story is not right.

  • @AFGFreya
    @AFGFreya14 жыл бұрын

    @bedil555 Lol, I don't need to prove anything to you. People are able to research on Afghanistan and what they will find is the truth. You can't speak proper English and when you do say something that makes sense it ends up as a sentence complete with vile words. You keep repeating the same thing. Like I've already said, "Land of the Pashtuns" that's literally the definition for Afghanistan. I can't change that but of course you can continue barking like a dog, it still won't make a difference

    @zahazaid : Kus-e-assan or whatsoever was not the name of Afghanistan that was the name of province in Iran which still exists. But you people always create divisions whenever Afghanistan is occupied or attacked. You should at least be beholden to us because we gave you shelter from the Russians.
