1. The sketch was at the beginning, the artist added more and more details to the sketch. Then finally they showed the result at last. 2. Nonetheless, a sketch is art.

I love how you create chaos and sculpt something beautiful.

As a draftsman I love the sound of the dry charcoal on quality paper. Always better to work from life than computer " reference "....

today i drew my first 2 drawings on charcoal, you make it seem so easy! but i would like to thank you, i recently bought a bunch of supplies and am starting my charcoal journey and i wouldn’t have if i didnt see your beautiful work! thank you for your art!

I swear, at the end of this one, because it looks so great..and probably have seen too many scary movies...but I fully expected her eyes to pop open😲 So I couldn't sleep do to extreme complications after major surgery...but had a notebook and I had been sharpening a charcoal pencil, a cheap one, and the charcoal broke off and good bit..so...I just went for it because I love you work so much. Obviously it was awful, but great fun :) I think it'll help me be more loose in my painting maybe, to get comfortable with it. It was hysterical, I showed my husband and he asked if it was because I was in so much pain that I made what looked like a Michael Myers mask drawing...😲😳🤣😆🤣😆🤷🏼‍♀️

What I like is that refinement of the rending doesn't necessarily make it better. It feels evocative in so many ways and stays that way through the process. Its just a matter of taste. I really dig that.
