Your wife's facial expressions are incredible. Reminds me of how good actors once used there facial expressions to communicate to the audiences.

Her facial expressions in the background were scene stealers and made this video so much more enjoyable.

It is called Sharps Island lighthouse. It has been damaged several times by ice flows, moved and returned. The lastest time was in1977. There have been no attempts to bring it right up. It was decommissioned in 2010. It was recommended for sale by way of the historical lighthouse act, but no takers. All the original furniture was left inside when closed. However, with being so accessible, it has been taken by whomever. It is a great piece of history.

What an amazing couple. A wide of range of skills, and she's as tough as any pioneer wife who ever lived and with super model looks. Incredible. As for the lighthouse, the methheads around here would've scrapped that out by now!

Very enjoyable video, thank you. I had a chance to visit a very remote light station island in the NW that also has been automated and empty for some time. We were fortunate to land there when the coast guard was there so we were allowed a tour. I too was struck by the quality of work and materials. As the I noticed on your station, the attention to detail such as embellishments on on the windows that really no one would see was amazing. That sort of workmanship and efforts to beauty is long gone. To bad.

It has been enjoyable following along, watching and learning as you worked at your forge, carving, and building your homestead up. But I've seen all of the ocean I wanted to during my time in the Navy as a rescue swimmer. So I wanted to wish you well in whatever the future holds for the two of you. Take care and goodbye.

Man I wish you did google that light house, now I have to cause I find it very interesting that there is a leaning light house somewhere thats been abandon, maybe I can find some info on it. FYI, in the movie Forest Gump he runs to a light house in ME. Good video thanks for sharing. ("The current light, a sparkplug lighthouse, was constructed in 1882 with a concrete caisson foundation and a 35-foot (11 m) cast iron tower. The fourth-order Fresnel lens was replaced with a 9.8-inch (250 mm) lens in 1977; the focal plane is 54 feet (16 m) above sea level. The tower includes an integral dwelling and was staffed until 1938 when the United States Coast Guard automated the light.[3] Leaning by about 15° since it was ice-damaged in 1977, the structure is picturesque, but in poor condition.")

you guys are more like i am that is the kind of site seeing i like and love the fact that you took time to show the craftsman ship that was involved in the making of the light house it would be hard to find craftsman that could do this today most people don't have the patient to do so and they buy every thing made some where else or order from factory witch machine do it all and not the craftsman himself And it looks like you both enjoy the adventure and absorb every moment to the very core of your energy well have a wonderful day hope to more of your video soon
