This mod adds a new mystery to uncover in the Outer Wilds, with some neat puzzles and locations to explore. It was made in two weeks for our mod jam with the themes "hidden in plain sight" and "bigger on the inside". I was one of the judges so I recorded my playthrough during the judging process.
Tesseract's Secret used my Outer Wilds modding framework called New Horizons that offers tools for creating planets, characters, and more. Might be like the only mod that doesn't use features from Echoes of the Eye too. Wait no I just remembered literally the first thing it does. I'm a fool. Literally that made no sense to say. I'm leaving it in though because saying "Echoes of the Eye" might help my SEO.
Speaking of the algorithm please like and subscribe else my channel will die. Although actually the last mod playthrough video didn't do too poorly so maybe this won't kill my channel after all!

Hey, this is an odd request, but could you check out the voice acting mod? no ones really made a video on it and i dont have pc outer wilds, but ive been immensely curious as to what voices theyve given the characters (ive been told the hearthians' voices are pretty awful though)

Yeah I could maybe do that, I tried making a video covering all the mods for the game but then more and more kept being made. Could revisit the idea though, or just do a select group of them. Thanks for the suggestion!
I don't love the "walk the perimeter" requirement, it feels really out of place for Outer Wilds, but overall its a great mod

Yeah true, most vanilla puzzles will make some amount of sense like how the warp pads align with the center of mass for example. But walking the perimeter is just completely arbitrary
4:14 came here to verify that the planet (?) was indeed supposed to be completely invisible. I've played the mod for 2 full loops now and WALKED AROUND on it without seeing any single texture or hint as to how to make the darn thing visible. Must be a bug of some kind? But also I don't see any way to report it (or ask questions) anywhere on the mod site. Can someone help me with either of those issues?

Must be a bug yeah. Do you have the DLC installed? Otherwise you should join the modding discord which is on the website

@@xen-42 I do not have the DLC. Is that a requirement? If so I feel that should be noted somewhere on the mod site...

Outer wilds should have either more mods or a continuation like outer wilds in the next Universe i don t accept such good game to end with dlc and not even a continuation

I agree. There are some pretty impressive looking story mods currently being made, but it is sad how few mods there are. I really hope that the next game Mobius makes can really live up to Outer Wilds, even if it isn't a direct continuation!
