This video covers creating a physics based character controller in Godot 4, inspired by the character controller found in Outer Wilds.
This is the second video in a tutorial series on how you can make an Outer Wilds-style solar system with a physics based character controller in Godot. This is an intermediate tutorial series that assumes you have working knowledge of C# and Godot and LINQ and uh orbital physics maybe?
Okay now I need to write clickbait stuff for the algorithm um Outer Wilds Echoes of the Eye, Godot vs Unity who wins?!?!?!? Unity obviously but uh Godot is fun! Among Us 2 in real life. Okay bye. I just copy pasted what was on part 1. Sue me. (Don't sue me).

    I spend a lot of time explaining stuff in this video and also go back and forth a bit at the end showing some pitfalls that come with it and how they're fixed (namely the rotating and drifting on the surfaces of planets), let me know if that's actually useful? Figured I might as well do that since the source code is available if all you care about is seeing what I've done without the explanations of why.
