thanks for doing this .. i've just started EVE and am interested in mining and production and have seen these too ships... having someone explain their pro's and con's is great to help me understand

Probably just nit picking here, but you stated that each block of ice was 1 kilometer on a side, and it’s actually 1 block of ice is 10 meters on each side. Love your videos though. Any chance you could do a video covering all the T2 Exploration Frigates? I’m a huge Frigate fan.

What about Fleet Ore holds? I know that the Orca and Rorqual have Fleet Hangers as well as Boost capability. Then again the Rorqual has the Industrial Core that allows for ore Compression. That would greatly expand the ore holding capacity. Though, is that all the Industrial Core does?

The industrial core also buffs the boosts of the rorqual as well as buff the rorquals mining Drones

What prospect fitting is suit for L4 mining mission (gas)?

Hmm maybe time to start looking into using my endurance for low sec ore mining, used my porpoise but something thought i was a bait and well i was no match for a legion :)

@@JuriusDoctor Using the prospect in null for Mercoxit mining, 10k ore hold is bit small but the speed and cloak of the ship sure is helpful.

Another group of ships that you havent covered would be non-empire faction ships. You touched on the gila (imho the actual pve king before the VNI) when you covered the gallente or the astero... Also only scrached the surface and i think mostly ignored the rest of those lines. The worm is awesome for 3 person abyssal gangs and the rattlesnake is often used to solo lvl 4 missions... Mordus legion line is basically the nastiest takle around... Many noteworthy ships are non-empire

My favourite ships in EVE

prob with the time limit is that it's players that you usually end up finding and not npcs and players will hit you with every disabling equipment the game has. Also it doesn't take 10-15 min to find you they find you within 1-3 min. So any other standard vessel that can use gas/mining lasers is probably better to use simply cause they're dirt cheap by comparison.

While the prospect is an ungodly useful boat, allowing you to harvest the volatile gases in Null Sec as well as making extended runs into Wormhole space, I just cannot see a purpose for the endurance compared to say a covetor.

It's great for PVP. Specifically explorer or miner hunting.

You completely ignored the fact that Coveters have two ice miners. In your example the Coveter out mines the Endurance for ice.

Also my full T2 ice fit for Coveter costs only about 22 mil, including ship.

He sied the covetor mines 2 blocks every minute or so and the endurance mines 1 block every 30 seconds or so if anything they mine as well

T1 strip miners are better because you only use T2 strips for crystals.

Correct but spending 250+ million for a Hulk for a fifteen percent increase in efficiency is pointless while you're still learning. T1 strips to start, then move to t2 strips with crystals, then to exhumers
