“George and P-Funk,” I grew up listening to your music and you all always leave it all on stage. You all show is electrifying. George and P-Funk still rock and I like the way you have incorporated your Grand Daughters into the act. They with the other young lady are smoking hot-they’re fine. The musicians were awesome. But, those ladies are sizzling-great performance.

Unfortunately, this version of P-Funk is no where near as tight as the THE P-FUNK EARTH TOUR OF 1978. The talent was immense compared to this group. Other, than Mr. Clinton himself. The true star of this version is Blackbyrd McKnight . I just saw them in Cincinnati on June 1, 2019 and Mr. McKnight was the star of the show. Mr. Michael " Kidd Funkadelic " Hampton wasn't even in attendance as rumored. This show is even superior to this past weeks concert in Cincinnati, and it is basically the same group except for possibly the drummer Unfortunately, there are so many past legends not with us anymore that were superior talents where none other will ever measure up.

Get it Byrd. Fly on...

That song was like a early Funkadelic sound. They were a rock band before they were actually called funk music. Funkadelic and Jimi Hendrix help create the hard rock or heavy metal sound.

Great gig and I'm loving the new lineup, but with Mudbone in the band, no one else should be singing 'vanish in our sleep'. He leaves the stage at that point - it's just disrespectful to him - he OWNES that song on the recording.

Filip Šinik the song is called "Up For The Downstroke", probably the beginning of the major commercial success of Parliament during the early 70's. "Chocolate City" came next and the rest is history...

I like the music, but George Clinton on stage always appeared to me as if James Brown's hype man was made the main star. I mean, he barely sings or anything.
