Cornel's campaign could even cause a catastrophic split in the Democratic base. But I honestly view such developments as mere growing pains towards the creation of a working class democracy such that has never existed before in the United States. Being always terrified of the short term losses never allows us to realize the long term wins. Voting for a lesser evil is still voting for evil and only ever delays the inevitable victories of the GOP. A working class movement with leaders and a party that represents our class interests has the potential to defeat the GOP permanently.

Don't hate on Dr.West! Learn the difference go in-depth with what he is speaking on and then compare messages from other Presidential candidates. Then post an update about what you've heard & learned about truth being told or not being told, concerning solutions being mapped out and honestly applied then implemented into society and peoples lives as a whole. Something right has to happen when folks work 2/3 jobs just to make rent & pay utilities, barely getting food on the table... GOD is watching it all go on! I love Dr West, but I didn't hear much on specific policy ideas. I know what he's for, but it's important to name the specific policies and how you plan to regulate the blue dog neoliberals in Congress who are going to fight you on those progressive ideas. And the answer is something akin to how LBJ handled the Dixiecrats in his own party, with big carrots and bigger sticks.

Change comes very slowly, if at all. But the only way we can change the present and shape it towards a brighter future, is if we TRY. We go to our grave trying because that is our heart's desire, our life's purpose. This is simple "law of attraction." We don't give up because of setbacks or failures, we keep going in spite of it. So everyone has to ignore the naysayers who say "3rd parties won't work" or, "this candidate can't win." It's not about winning or losing, like I said, if you want something you put all your effort into it, win or lose, regardless of the outcome of your actions/effort. And more importantly, even when you do "win," you never rest on your laurels. There's always more good to do, there's always a better future to create. It's like what any good artist would do, despite great success or failure, they keep creating art. Because creation is an end in itself, not a means to an end.
