@@aluminaterock660 nation is very different from the government ... Nation is the entity that soldiers die for.... Govt is the entity that is usually the most corrupt with out close competition ... So there is a huge difference in the words you pick...now for some reason you think it's ok ask the raja of travencore to merge with india but not respect their liabilities that is simply not constitutional just to clear ...for example let's say modi takes your money puts in some scheme and poof the money is gone how would feel about it ?? Similarly govt also needs to respect it's creditors .. in this particular the state is free to hand back the lands and finish off paying the 'rent' ... nevertheless the argument is beyond this .. the state has no business interfering in private faith ... What will state do next ? Out-law Shiva linga. Because they have weird relationship with male sexual organ and hence discrimination ?? When do we respect peoples privacy and private property ?

this is the hindu phobia that minorities have been spreading all along!! all the laws favour minorities. Tell me one another country where we have such minority benefits, yet they only bite the hands that feed them ? how long will this continue? Infact Hindus are being oppressed and mocked by sections of minorities and they easily get away with it..! Hindus are secular by nature.. But the recent intolerance by sections of minorities are making Hindus more n more communal!! Hindu temples are owned by govt... is any mosque or church owned by govt? Tirupati temple gives 85% of its revenue to Govt. with only 15%, it provides high quality food and shelter free for devotees in tirumala hills and funds a university, school and also sankara netralaya eye hospital where there poor gets free treatment! Coming to land ownerships, hindu temple's land were seized by govt and the money that temples legitimately should get is being questioned by minorities!!! .... where as CSI is the largest non agricultural land owner after govt of India. Wakf boards are the 3rd largest land owners in India!!! who is oppressed here?!?

The Truth about what Sai Deepak says... Dear Devotees/non-devotees/anyone who wants the truth, please read this & understand how you are being manipulated... On watching the first video, I thought he was just an idiot advocate.. But, on watching the 2nd one, I understood that he is not an idiot, but a manipulator.. First of all, let me point out the legal errors he blatantly make without any inhibition... 1. Art 27: Sai Deepak says that the Article prevents state from using tax money for religious purposes. This is wrong. Art 27 reads like this-No person shall be compelled to pay any taxes, the proceeds of which are “specifically appropriated” in payment of expenses for the promotion or maintenance of any particular religion or religious denomination. The term “specifically” indicates that no tax can be made specifically in the name of any particular worship place. (Tax is that which is imposed, the appropriation of which is approved by the Parliament in its sessions.) Art 27: indiankanoon.org/doc/211413/ This is how, tax money is used to finance the administration(not as rent) of Sabarimala in the form of Devaswom Board. If you think by basic logic, how can an unconstitutional Article continue to exist in the Constitution in the form of Art 290A - which says “A sum of forty six lakhs and fifty thousand rupees shall be charged on, and paid out of, the Consolidated Fund of the State of Kerala every year to the Travancore Devaswom Fund”. Art 290A: www.indianconstitution.in/2016/07/article-290a-constitution-of-india.html Also, another lie he said on this front was that Kerala Govt takes money from the temple more than it gives. This is an absurd argument which was propagated by the BJP in Kerala until two years ago, which was broken by the then MLA V.D.Satheesan openly in the media. If you understand Malayalam watch the video below. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pYCEuNOrY860erQ.html The above facts are known to each & every advocate & anyone who has learnt Constitution well. You can check with any neutral advocate/legal practitioner. This is why I am damn sure that he is a manipulator. 2. Art 25 gives the freedom of conscience & free profession, practice & propagation of religion. And it also says in Art 25(2)(b) that nothing in this article shall affect the operation of any existing law or prevent the State from making any law providing for social welfare and reform or the throwing open of Hindu religious institutions of a public character to all classes and sections of Hindus. You can clearly see that this article reduces the scope of religious freedom by throwing open all Hindu religious institutions of a public character to all classes & sections (I hope you understand this includes women of any age) 3. It does not say in any place in the Constitution that something written in scriptures can be allowed to continue in the name of religious freedom. So the rest of his arguments on the deity don’t have any value as to the rights guaranteed by the Constitution are concerned. And although it doesn’t matter as far as Constitution is concerned, I am telling you, there are no scriptures which tell Ayyappa is a Naishtika Brahmachari. This is a myth created by the pretend devotees who has their own devious motives behind it. You will understand this if you watch any discussion conducted in Malayalam TV channels where historians talk about this. It is available in KZread as well. For eg. The speech of Sunil P. Ilayidom. He is known for his writings and lectures on politics, literature, art and culture and is a recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award. Moral: People will use your ignorance in certain things to fool you in many ways as everyone doesn’t need to study Constitution to the depth in which any advocate has to study it. So, it is easy to manipulate you. Please understand the reality behind every argument by consulting with the ones you can trust & the ones who know about the matter. Not the manipulators like Sai Deepak & Rahul Easwar.

Read and understand article 14 before raising senseless arguments. Equality should be distributed among equals and not unequals. So the constitution through article 14 specifically provides protection for any minorities. In our patriarchal society the need to protect and uplift women is important. So if in any case such special protection or such special status is given to women, it comes under the ambit of Article 14. But to your statement, there are both girls only schools as well as boys only schools. There is no discrimination in the existence of such institutions. But if in an area or a place no other institution cannot be accessed and there only exists a single school then if that particular school fail to admit a person based on their gender then that may come under discrimination.

@@austin426512 valid question but what is important is the origins of the practise needs to be traced. Since our society has largely been patriarchal throughout history, we always tend to impute the practices be it religious, social or cultural to patriarchy based discrimination. This might not always be true. The Christian women if they desire to become pope should question this. Maybe a more informed debate would unravel.

Case is sub-judice I know. This lawyer has already presented his case. He need not learn from Devil's Advocates; but from the Right wing lawyers who are as good as Kapil Sibal. Now that his presentation is over, there's no question of writing off him. Let's see the court's decision. If it goes against the women, it is bad for the future of the temple because we see women are getting equal in every sphere, including spiritual sphere, thanks to modern science and this temple will find it difficult to survive as an odd man out. If it stands as odd man, it is against the ethos of the Hindu religion itself. Hindu religion moves with times. It is not stagnant. The temple will then drown itself in the ethos of the fanatical religion like Islam. We can call it a mosque.

What Sai probably missed wrt "Can God have human flow?" is in Hinduism there is no concept of God, instead, you have the concept of Devata and Iswaran. Which is completely different from the Abrahamic concept of God. A deity is just Devata not Iswaran. See the irony, a constitution copied mainly from western constitutions (essentially founded upon Christian ideals) is forcing Hinduism (a vast and diverse belief system) to adhere to Abrahamic concepts.

J sai Deepak has not only justicifed the restriction of women entire to sabarimala temple but also he clarified doubts even Hindus or devotes of swami ayyappa were not aware of. Thanks to him. But the irony is only Hindu temple or Hindu belief system is crushed, by so called secular people. Why not other religions for example, Muslim women should ware hibaj(black burka) even on hot summer why not Muslim men. This is perpousfull imposed on her ,she can't walk way from it. But restriction of women to entry of sabarimala temple is not that way. If women want to enter temple she needs to wait until her age or she can just ignore the daity itself. It is not imposed on any women. Hinduism is much secular compared to any other religion. Any of secularist is having answer for it.

We don't need to whitewash the arguments by making general statements about the religion. If you say it is secular, it is broad minded, it is accommodation - all such statements are applied to the religion as a whole. Take this temple only which is the bone of contention now. You cannot bury the bone with the sand of general statements on the religion. Sabarimal is rigid and its traditions are hostile to the 50% of devotees namely women. Do you agree with it or not? If you agree, this temple negates the open values of Hindu religion.

He says it is for the whole religion. In Hindu religion, there're variety of sects of which only one or a few, is what he says. If he makes his argument for the religion, as a whole, he will lose this case because the religion is like a ocean of cross currents. You can't fix it. Hope you'll understand what I'm talking about.

They have to take up the light & hold the vision that "Sarvam khalvidam Brahma" or Ishaavaasyamidam Sarvam tomorrow. So they need teachers for that. And schools & Indian universities must have the right to teach Indian scripts! Who can ban it? Who has the right to ban it? 'Secularism' is a proven mistake in India... We all recognized it or experiencing it! I wish Shabarimala must strongly fight for autonomous state after this gender issue! Sathyameva Jayathe! N.B:- like other religious texts Hindu scripts are not for making a human good& dhaarmic....it is to make you Bhagavān Himself! That's why Ishwara is in human form! Humanly instruments are given or human janma is given to elevate the Self from body level to Ishwara/Bhagavān/Brahma level! No other purpose is mentioned in any scripts! Like no true Guru wish his/her disciples be mere sevaks through out their life...A True Guru tries always to elevate all up to His/Her own state!

Mr. Sai, I understood from your speech that Temples are funded by the State, but that money given is not any kind of donation, but towards rent/lease charges of the properties earlier owned by these temples and subsequently taken over by the rulers and then handed over to the Government on formation of Indian Union. Thats fine. But what about the huge money the devotees donate to the temple as offering in cash or in kind ? It is learnt that all together around 5 crore devotees visit Sabarimala in an year (Temple open only around 140 days or so). Even if we take each devotee donates Rs. 100, the income will be Rs. 500 Crores in an year. But it should be more than double of that. Hence absolutely there is no funding from the Government for Sabarimala Temple and the temple is self sufficient and run by the money paid by the devotees themselves for Lord Ayyappa even without taking into consideration the so called rent the Govt owes to the temple for managing its properties.

Why are Kerala Hindus protesting? (IN A NUTSHELL) Kerala is witnessing unprecedented Hindu uprising in protest against the Sep. 28 Supreme court judgment making unlawful, the ban on entry of 10-50 aged women in Sabarimala temple in Kerala & ban on entry of women during their menstrual days in temples across the country . Common hindus with absolutely no political affiliation are taking to streets across Kerala in a sense of absolute betrayal of their faith by the Supreme Court and Kerala government! However, there is nation-wide misunderstanding on the real cause of the uprising, especially in the absence of healthy debates on the matter in non-Malayalam Media. This is most evident from the National Womens' Commission chairperson's remarks that she fails to understand the issue as women are free to enter or not to enter a temple ! This remark shows how superficial the national understanding is , of the issue. This note is an attempt to drive reality of the sep. 28 SC judgment home to English-speaking Indians. Kindly forward this message to as many non-Malayalees as possible. Let truth prevail! Precisely because the Sep. 28 SC Constitution Bench verdict violates a Hindu's Fundamental right to belief guaranteed by the Constitution (Article 25)! Lets see how.. We need to break the judgment into two parts: 1. Entry of women between 10 and 50 years of age to Sabarimala temple. Context: It is custom of centuries (Despite odd instances of nepotism-led -later Tantrically pacified-entries otherwise ) that women of menstrual age are denied access to the Sabarimala temple. This custom is connected to the Tantrically conceived Naishtika Brahmachari nature of the deity and the concept of Deity-believer unity/singularity , violation of which is believed to violate the very nature of the deity and destroy the sanctity of the temple The Agitating points: * The verdict fails to acknowledge the very nature of any Hindu temple. A Hindu temple is not and should not be a "public place" that unconditional/unqualified access enforcible by invoking fundamental rights. Hindu temples are Devaswom/ Devasthanas (Place of God, legally acknowledged in many court judgments. In short , it is private property where entry only if conducive to the deity's Tantric nature can be acknowledged. No tresspass to be allowed. * There is only age restriction, not gender descrimination in Sabarimala. Article 14 which was (cited by petitioners as basis for appeal for the women-entry )seeks to prevent discrimination * According to Hindu belief, a Temple more than / different from any other building because of the Tantric energy conceived there. A temple is sanctity / divinity is lost if rules to ensure Tantric energy's maintenance are not enforcible. Only a Tantric can decide on behalf of all worshippers on aspects of Tantric energy. The verdict would legally prevent temple authorities / Hindus from preventing entry of menstrual-age women which will diminish temple sanctity. This is a direct onslaught on a Hindu's Fundamental right to belief guaranteed by the Constitution (Article 25). 2. Entry of women during their menstrual days to all Hindu temples in the country Context: All body wastes are denied entry to Temples and are considered impure. This is why there are no toilets attached to Hindu temples. Since menstrual flow is beyond body control, women are denied entry during the first five days of every menstrual period (five days every month). This part of the verdict has more far-reaching consequences and is not limited to sabarimala Temple, but lakhs of temples across India. This would mean that it would be illegal for Temple authorities to include prohibition of entry of menstruating women as part of rules to maintain temple sanctity. Worse, devotees and temple authorities can only remain mute spectators if "Liberal" activists walk upto the sanctum / garbhagriha with placards crying"We are bleeding" . Worst, this judgment would make way for calls for appointment of women including, on menstrual days as pujaris. The Agitating point: * As with the first part of the verdict, According to Hindu belief, a Temple more than / different from any other building because of the Tantric energy conceived there. A temple is sanctity / divinity is lost if rules to ensure Tantric energy's maintenance are not enforcible. Only a Tantric can decide on behalf of all worshippers on aspects of Tantric energy. The verdict would legally prevent temple authorities / Hindus from preventing entry of menstruating women which will diminish temple sanctity. This is a direct onslaught on a Hindu's Fundamental right to belief guaranteed by the Constitution (Article 25). In short, there is an overwhelming sense of betrayal by the ruling Court and the Kerala State Gov. (which supported the petitioners) among the Kerala Hindus ; For them, prohibiton of essential temple rituals vilify their temples making temples mere Public buildings , devoid of the Tantric energy they visit the temples for! Can there be a greater attack on a religious group ? This note is an attempt to drive reality of the sep. 28 SC judgment home to English-speaking Indians. Kindly forward this message to as many non-Malayalees as possible. Let truth prevail! SATYAMEV JAYATE!

Same tantric ideas & deity's wish were propagated during the entry of Dalits into the temples in Kerala.. The then top priests asserted that there are no shuddhikarmas or pariharas possible if Dalits enter the temple.. Even if a dog or criminal enters, there were parihara kriyas, but not a dalit.. And the Dalits were told, if they believe in God, they should not enter.. The exact same thing is happening in Kerala right now.. Go away with your stupid arguments.. No God will ever snatch a piece of land & tell a section of devotees not to enter there because he is meditating in the celibate nature.. That is your perverted version of the deity.. Or the ones spread by the later stupid tantris to assert their position in the society.. The real God/deity is beyond your or their imagination... Social & religious reformers have always encouraged questioning the religious practices.. This kind of an intellectual review is necessary for every religion/temple for its continued existence.. Retrogressive traditions & customs should be removed as the society grows.. People like you are trying to pull the society back.. And Yes.. SATYAMEVA JAYATE... (I am a Malayalee Woman)

@@hhnandu : You are so ignorant! Which Tantric text mentions only certain castes should enter? Max., they want "Brahmins" as poojaris to maintain tantric purity as the poojari is the one who brings life to the stone and makes it a deity! And "Brahmin" can be from any caste; As long as strict practice of sattvic diet etc . are made. Try to understand that Hindu temples are not mere museums & deities are not mere statues that every person has a fundamental right to "see"! One's fundamental right is subject to others' fundamental rights (here, a devotee's right to retain Ayyappa chaitanya-fundamental right to belief). And btw check what Article 14 says; age/day restriction is not even gender discrimination ! It is obvious that you got such education from Parties that cunningly Project any assault on Hinduism as "progress"! We are past that era FYI! You will obviously support the "right" of Worshippers to enter the sanctum wearing toilet chappals!

  • @hhnandu

@@SJ-zo3lz Hahaha.. I ask you back the same question.. Which tantric text says young women cannot enter Sabarimala..? There are only 2-3 tantric texts based on which South Indian temples operate.. The earliest one being "Thanthrasamuchayam".. None of them says this stupidity.. Only the Agamas of the temple written in the 19th century dictates the nishtas to be followed by a devotee "samy"... It is not a thantrashastra as you want to try to project.... Who are you trying to cheat? Yourself? Do a better research on the subject before spreading such stupidity.. And I am repeating the same thing to you "One's fundamental right to practice a perverted custom stops when it denies entry to another human being, which is his/her fundamental right" .. And Art 14.. I think you better read it first.. It doesn't say anywhere in the article that age/day restriction is not gender discrimination.. A 20 year old boy can enter, whereas 20 year old girl cannot.. It is pure discrimination & is based on a belief created from vacuum.. I have studied Constitution dear.. Don't try to teach me your ignorance.. Please understand that everyone has the right to believe.. Denying my entry according to your belief is where the stupidity starts.. You believe in the stupid custom, you don't go.. That's fine.. But you believe, so I should not go - - what is the basis of that argument? And, I would never say anyone to enter with toilet chappals in a temple.. No one would.. That is just an argument you project when you have nothing else to say.. A rule that insists not to wear chappals inside a temple is for everyone to follow & is not affecting the social fabric of the society (like here in the case of Sabarimala, when women tried to enter the shrine, they were abused, pelted stones at & even their houses were attacked.. One of them had to run for their life.. Don't tell me, real devotees won't attack.. Only because of the invisible popular support by the devotees, these perverted elements were able to attack them). So, I hope you understood that none of the parties had a role to play in my argument.. I did my own research long before the verdict came.. Even from my childhood, I was questioning why I was denied entry to Sabarimala.. No one gave me a proper explanation.. And none will ever be able to.. Because it is a whole bunch of stupidity.. And the future generations will definitely call you the retrogressive section of the society.. This stupid custom is going to change.. If not by verdict, then by popular demand from an educated society you have not seen yet.. It is not an assault on Hinduism.. Hinduism has evolved through many changes & it further will.. The customs which don't discriminate anyone & hurt anyone will stay forever.. I am a proud Hindu.. & a proud human being too..

Dear Deepak - your vast knowledge, debating skills, presence of mind is phenomenal - you already are and will be even more a champion of our culture and "religion" What amazes me the way you demolish the opponent argument so coolly and politely - really admirable!!
