Indic Renaissance - the legal way | J. Sai Deepak | TEDxRGNUL

Sai Deepak tells us why he decided to pursue a career as a lawyer after studying engineering. He also talks about the reason for establishing the Indic collective trust and it’s efforts in reviving the dwindling “Indian way of life” through law. J. Sai Deepak is a Delhi-based litigator who practises primarily before the Delhi High Court. He is a very successful litigator but did not have law as his first career choice. Instead, he graduated with Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering after which he went on to pursue LLB. In his own words, he is “a first-generation lawyer, an engineer-turned-general litigator with core competence in Intellectual Property Law and allied areas”.
He won the 2008 Legal Writing Competition of the International Association for the Advancement of Teaching and Research in Intellectual Property (ATRIP) as a student and writes for his blog “The Demanding Mistress”. Sai frequently writes on his blog. As a law student, his blogpost on the Bajaj-TVS patent dispute was quoted and was relied upon by a Division Bench of the Madras High Court to reverse the findings of the Single Judge. He has also authored papers in various exemplary journals. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. I am 50 years old. I studied in Kannada Medium and I was officially told my English is bad and needs to pep up. I grew up with an inferiority complex all throughout. I put my daughter in excellent English medium school and today she is brilliant - Not because of English medium - but came out of that inferiority complex. She can read write ane converse with eloquence in HINDI as well. The point I am making is that - Inferiority complex can kill us. I work in IT industry - every day meeting if we quote some obscure person's statement like " Quality is Free -- Philips Crosby" -- etc.. it sounds professional. The moment we start quoting from CHANAKYA or Swami Vivekananda we are told not to do that. This is happening in Bangalore India and not outside India. Our senior executives all are sold out to westerners. An entire lot of very senior management executives all comfortable in humiliating India and that will bring her or him a lot of luxury. In this context - a brilliant person Sai Deepak- who could have easily got into the cozy club of executives- chose to take a difficult path with missionary zeel is commendable. Please note all the great people like Subhash Chandra Bose Vir Savarkar suffered a lot during their lifetime - We in 2020 should not allow that to happen to Sai Deepak. He should be protected for our own good

Very good we youth are only busy in pleasure comedy and most of the educated student don't want talk on this issue they can't have guts to counter other questions. They thinks these make him communal .In india thinking about hindi and hindus are communal these types of mind we have make in last 70 years of congress and leftist all judge are leftist . congress divide hindus and hindus institution. First we have to make youth that it our fundamental rights there nothing communal otherwise our traditional will lost and what had done in past like extinction of hindus in pakistan and afganistan and bangladesh is mere example .only comedy and movie will not help u on ground. Very very thanks to Indic world

Rajya Sabha would be the right place for this extremely erudite, candid, clear-headed, young, energetic person who can single-handedly demolish rhetorics/narratives of many myopic, so-called left-liberals n seculars. BJP should pick up this gem and send him to RS.
