@@lizzspo I think the total was something like 2000$ I had to get a 3080 straight from evga so it was a bit more than any used prices And the tuf gaming board wasnt the cheapest it was just the one with the all black asthetic i wanted

Gotta figure out first what it would cost for the cosmetic pieces, and we would go from there. My gaming has been pretty light lately so definitely don’t need too much horsepower!

This is a pretty solid build but for $1000 but if you want to get the most performance i would recommend you this build. Intel i5 12400f for $174 (can be found for lower) Vetroo U6 pro cooler for $49 Asrock B660 pro ATX for $109 Teamgroup classic 16gb (8x2 3200) for $43 Adata legend 500gb m.2 for $35 XFX Radeon Rx 6750xt 12gb for $470 Any ATX case under $60 will be fine Rosewill 80+ bronze psu semi modu for $54 Total about $999 This pc is pretty future proof cuz you can always upgrade to Intel's 13th gen when it comes out cuz it's backwards compatible and it's easy to upgrade the storage, GPU, and cooler. Ehh. You could get a 5600 which isn’t that much worse than a 12400f plus a cheaper and way better motherboard. Honestly most motherboards are better than that b660 by asrock. you can pick up 3600 mhz for a few cents more, 500gb nvme ssd for 35, a 6800xt, gold 600w psu, plus cheapest case for 1021

@@MonicaHolly143 it’s depends on the gpu. But since I was pairing it w/ a 6800xt so you would probably be using a 1440p monitor. And the cpu doesn’t make that big of a difference in 1440p.

Given the socket mount issues with the 12th Gen intel's, I'm willing to pay a little more for a 5600x that mounts properly doesn't warp and has proper gap between the CPU and Cooler. I feel like I should not have to pay extra for a proper CPU mounting solution.

If you really wanted, you could get the kediers white ps case. It's basically a lianli dynamic but cheaper, and comes with 9 rgb fans for 130 dollars

zach, im very curious about the cases in my country none of those cases are available. So i wanted to ask if the nzxt h5 flow is compatible with all the other parts shown. I did some research and i think that all of them are compatible but i want to hear it from you to be sure.

I managed to build myself an nr200 itx pc with an i5 12400f and evga rtx 3070 for around $800. it's possible guys. I got the thermaltake contac se 9 cooler for the cpu ( Less than $20). it hardly even gets warm when I'm gaming with vsync @60fps max settings 1080p

buahahaha I cant believe it You made my PC the only difference I built mine almost 2 months ago and used a 12400 and a ASROCK STEEL LEGEND B66OM motherboard and I changed the fans to upheres infinity mirror fans and im using the OLOYS rgb memory sticks and the ID CPU Cooler instead and it did cost me around 1000 dollars since I snatched the gpu on a AMAZON Flash sale p.s I want to get that cool aio but dont know how it will look in my pc if you can do it on the one that you just build it will be an awesome reference thanks for making my day Zach and stay strong Wish You the best and a fast family reunion with your Wife and boys

Hey what did you do to make the 6650xt powercolor graphics card work with the MSI B660M motherboard apparently there is a known issue with the two not working correctly. Every time you try installing drivers pc goes to black screen.... I originally used the 550 watt power supply u had listed but I swapped it out with a 700w hoping that fixes it...

I would have gone with an RX 6700 XT instead of a 6650 because they are basically the same price. I would have also gone with a ryzen 5 5600x instead of intel and I would get a higher quality PSU.

I think a 6600 is a little to small for 1000 dollar pc you can get a 3060 or 6700 in pre builts for less but I do get the colors and custome stuff but if anyone does this build spend the extra 50 bucks to get a proper gpu

Hi. I have a dell optiplex 3020 at hand im im trying to build my brother a decent sleeper pc, and im looking for a cpu that could possibly be good for it, I've came across a Xeon E3-1270v3(4c 8t). The systen is lga 1150 it has an Intel h81 chipset mother board and im trying to figure out if the Xeon will be compatible inside of the optiplex.
