Love to see Montech branching out into some more premium feeling case designs! That Deepcool cooler matched up quite well with the blue of the case, can't think of any other coolers that would have looked as good in this build.

At 11:05. The default fan configuration is not all exhaust. Montech designed fans that spin the opposite way for the side intake so that you would see the nicer side of the fan while its working. If you look at the center of the fans they have arrows starting they spin a different direction

Corsairs old paste was extremely similar to xm4. Both degrade over time. Leave it in a system for like 6 months and check your temps again and your temps will have risen by 5-10 degrees. Not sure if that's been fixed with Corsairs new paste but I wouldn't trust it. Noctua and Thermalright are the best. They all perform similar but Noctua and Thermalright hold up over time. Also the only way to screw up thermal paste application is not enough thermal paste.

Personally I would actually go with the Ryzen 5 5600G, it's around the same price as the 5600 but with the igpu you can have that running your windows processes that need a GPU as well as rendering any other monitors so your dedicated card will run with less overhead

I Stepped Up from the FX6300 to the 5600G back in Dec, but that didn't Last... The FX was Running with a Gigabyte Motherboard and an ASUS TUF 1650 Super OC when I Started, but while Browsing one Day and not really PLANNING on Rebuilding, I ran across a 5600G/16 Gb RAM/ASUS Prime B450 Motherboard Bundle for Cheap... So, I got the Bundle and Carried Over all my other Hardware from 700 Watt PSU, SSD's, and GPU... The Boost was Great compared to the FX System, and it was Cheap, BUT that didn't end there.... Another Day, and Another Just being Nosey Session, I Accidently Found an MSI Factory Refurb 6600XT for Cheap... This ended up being the Next Purchase and was another Great Boost, but the CPU seemed to just be Sitting there and the GPU was doing Everything, the System was staying Plenty Cool, but the 700 Watt PSU was NOT a Modular Unit, so the Panels never really got Back Onto the System... This is where the Build went Off the Rails some, while Looking for the PSU and Case Replacements, I found the 5800X3D on Sale at Microcenter for Under $300, I wasn't Passing that Up, and to make matters Worse, I Added the Deep Cool AK500 Dark Cooler, the AK400's Bigger, Fatter Brother... I also Accidently found another MSI Factory Refurb, but this time it was the X570S Edge Max WiFi Motherboard, I'd been wanting to get more NVMe's in Place of ther HDD's I had been Running Behind the SSD's anyway, and this was the Perfect Solution since it'll take 3 of them, and I'm only using 2 Slots right now for 3TB's in Total for NVMe's... So, FINALLY, now we wanted to Clean Up the Wiring Issue and that wasn't Happening with this Case and PSU, so we went Looking at a Modular PSU and Case... Found the Vetroo 1000Watt ATX 3.0/PCIe 5.0 Modular for $150, which compared to most of the Others, was Lower unless you went with a Name you'd never Seen Before and Vetroo I'd at least Seen around, but Mostly Cases and Fans... As for the Case, I DO Have the Montech Sky Two, I Love this Case, and Yes it's STILL a Little Tight to get the Back Cover Onto it even with the Modular PSU, but most of that is Me more than the Case, but after seeing the New Cases Montech had at Computex, they have gone and made some Extra Room in the Newer Cases... Now, I don't play ALOT of Games, but I DO Play them all Windowed because I like having Access to my Taskbar... And one Issue I was running Into with the 6600XT was that Most of my Games would Default to almost a Full 4K Resolution Playing that way, at Full Screen I could get down to 1080 or even 1440, but as soon as I'd go to Windowed, it's Default to the Closest it could Get to a Full 4K Resolution... This Tanks the FPS, even on the 5800X3D with 16Gb of RAM, because my Artistic Side doesn't wanna see Lowered Screen Textures or Anything Else, it Drives my Brain Buggy... So, I went Looking at another GPU, I don't have any Specific Brand I Prefer, I DID Start Looking at nVidia because I wanted to see the Difference between the 2 Brands on this Set Up, but the Prices were Kinda Skewed to the Not Happening Side of things and THIS is the One Time a Used Part Failed me... Eventually I Found an ASRock 6800XT Phantom Gaming for Less than $430, I Got it, Put it In, and the Only thing it'd do was Run Windows and the Internet, as soon as you Loaded a Game or a Benchmark, it'd Crash HARD to the Desktop... After a Week of Trying EVERYTHING I could Think Of to get it to Work, I Returned it to Amazon ASAP, they were More than Happy to Take it Back and put the Money Back and the Hunt was Back On while the 6600XT was Back in Working Overtime... But I'd seen what the 6800XT's are Capable Of just when Starting Windows and the Basic Mundane Stuff, so I knew this was where I wanted to Set my Sights... About 2 Weeks Later I found the XFX 6800XT for Less than $550 Brand New and went that Route instead, I'll still get Used when I can for the Cost Savings, but this time I decided that the New Route was the Better Bet, and Unlike the Used Card, it came with the Free Last of Us Part I as well, so TECHNICALLY the Card cost Under $500 when you Count In the $60 Game... I've also Upgraded to 32Gb's of RAM the other day from the 16Gb, both the 16Gb and the 32Gb Sets were the Corsair LPX 3200 CL16 Modules... So now, in the End, I can rebuild my 5600G into an Overkill HTPC and have 2 Complete PC's... ALOT of Happy Accidents went into Building this PC, but unless you have a Plan for More than One PC when you Finish or even having Back Up Parts JUST in case something Fails, this is the Expensive Way to do it... I had a Plan anyway to Keep my Olde Hardware and Rebuild an HTPC anyway, but that was based on the FX6300 and NOT having the Parts from the 5600G as well, so in the End this doesn't Hurt me as Bad Overall, and the End Results are Worth It to me because if I Need to, I can Rebuild the FX OR 5600G Set Up and Resell it as a Complete Unit... But Browsing can be Expensive if you're in need of Parts, and not from a Cost Standpoint, but a Quantity Standpoint, EVEN when getting Used Parts... By the way, aside from the Fans that Came with the Sky Two and the Logo on the XFX 6800XT, you're NOT gonna see any RGB in this Build, even the RGB in the MSI Motherboard is Barely Visible in the Lower Right Corner around the Chipset Cooler with the 6600XT in there let alone that Brick of a 6800XT Blotting it all Out... And I have the Fans Set to the CPU Temp, so the Case stays MOSTLY Green and Blue, occasionally Purple... I think that's because I did a Bad Job with the Thermal Paste for One thing, and the Other is that it's a Cheap Brand from Best Buy several years ago when I Repasted a GPU Cooler for Testing Purposes, I thought it was Overheating and figured what can it Hurt to Try it... Next Additon'll be a Deep Cool AIO to see if that Changes anything, because I'm Nosey like that, and I shouldn't have to Swap Out all the Hardware to do it either... lol I know, Long Story, but think of it as a Cautionary Tale of PC Building... Because sometimes, whether Having a Plan or Not, things Never GO as Planned...

That is the ugliest pc case I’ve ever seen. AND MY PERSONAL CASE IS ALSO BLUE But for $1000, I feel like you could’ve gotten a 3080 or a 6800xt

the cheapest 3080 you can get is around $ 700, that leaves $300 in the budget and you are NOT putting together a rig that compliments that gpu for $300
