For anybody shopping in this price range, that sceptre monitor is perfect as they’re usually new to pc gaming and wont notice the issues. I had a sceptre (it became my secondary monitor) but loved it for 1080

This is why I love you bro. You include the cost of the pc which makes your vids so much more reasonable and helpful unlike other KZreadrs who take out the bulk of the cost just to make an unrealistic “$1000 setup”.

Literally taking tips and maintaining them to add into my setup definitely will be once a part of the setup wars

6:50 I really like that "Dusk" mouse pad. I just put that on my wish list spreadsheet. Also, the middle mountains almost looks like a silhouette of Batman's head.

When it comes to the monitor and ghosting you should try lowing the refresh rate to 144Hz. From what I've been reading it turns out a lot of 165Hz monitors are 'overclocked' to reach that goal and it can cause issues.

Damn this is definetely one of the best choices you could get for 1000$. Couldn’t have made it better, that thing looks awesome! Expected a lot less to be honest🔥

Finally looking forward to submiting my setup in the next few months. It has literally taken me years to finish because of setbacks... i am aiming for that Seal Of Approval been dreaming for a setup like this since my teenage years. Will have before and after pictures too.

When I moved out from dorms second year, I bought the exact same desk lol, it was so cheap and although the screw in the middle of the “X” often loses, it held everything on my desk fine! Always go budget!

Ed-"this is the exact same chair as the wish setup"- proceeds to fall the same. I like the consistency gotta give you that.

A quick way to get a better desk for less is to get a used door (which is usually less than 30-40) and get some two by 4s, some bolts, and small l brackets to mount it on the wall just rest the door on the two by 4s and use some plumbers pipe or something for the remaining corner or two. Depends on if you put the desk in a corner or in the middle of the wall. I built mine that’s 94 inches wide and could easily support 5 people for just 45 dollars including the door. I can dm anyone pictures if they want :)

hi ed, i found you channel in december and i have watched so many videos. i just recently bought a pc, and im hoping to soon upgrade it!

great vid ed, my buddy wants to get into pc gaming but has a tight budget. Now I can build him a nice setup he can use thanks to this vid. Also I have a setup of my own that I've slowly built over the past 3 years, I haven't submitted it due to me moving soon, but ill will be bringing something badass to the table!

I just realized I like every techsource vid before watching it and never had to dislike it after watching up till now.

i had a 24” spectre monitor for not even a year and the screen would dim out of nowhere and sometimes even shut off by itself. i ended up getting an acer monitor about two months ago and so far no issues :)

Love the sceptre monitors!! I use them in my Tik Tok setups and everyone disagrees on their performance!! Really underrated company IMO 😅
