EVISTR L157 Review and Tutorial
This is a great pocket sized recorder. It offers great functionality for only around $30. When opening the box for the first time, I noticed right off, that the EVISTR L157 is constructed from metal and has a nice feel and weight. This specific model reviewed here boasts 16 GB of storage and offers many features like voice activated recording. Another nice feature is that it records in the WAV format at 1536kpbs. It would work well as a handheld alternative for creating KZread videos, recording speeches, recording college classes, or taking verbal notes.

Your tutorial would be more helpful if you'd state more than what's already obvious like how to find a specific file, deleting individual versus all files, can you back up the files to computer, etc.

First question, no it was not recorded with this device. Second one... I think this makes a great backup recorder... I would not use this as a primary recorder for a pro job... For personal use it would probably work.
Very helpful but incomplete. Would have been better if you showed how to play back recording, delete recording, etc

Thank you because I've not received a response from an email for help to the company. How do I switch from Mp3 to WAV? I need to delete some WAV files because my memory is full. And yes, I've read through the user manual. Thank you so much!

I should add too that I've followed the directions to switch from Mp3 to WAV and it doesn't change. Before I format the recorder, I just need to access my recordings. Thanks again.

Hey just upload the MP3 to computer and then google mp3 to wav and there’s a bunch of sites that’ll convert that for you
how do you delete the file.
I am having an issue deleting files. when I go to the menu there are no delete files button as yours has.

Hmm... they must have changed the program sense when i got this recorder. The only other way i know would be to plug it into the computer and delete the unwanted files. Hope this helps, i dont have a better solution.

I have the EVISTR 64GB L357. Similar to the L157 but much better.

I have never used on with this recorder used it more as a backup audio for my other recorder when working on projects.

The buttons are not active
You cannot rewind or fast forward to review specific sections of recording. You are forced to listen to the entire recording because forward and rewind only allow you to start over.

You have to hold the button. Simply tapping it will rewind or fast forward all the way through, but holding one or the other will move within an individual recording.@@stevehunt3121

All you need to do is push the stop button and it saves your recording... I was out shooting a video today and was using this recorder as a backup

menu button deletes file.

Skip the unboxing how useless is that --- add some audio samples and files sizes at different rates -- listen to the noise floor and how is the gain auto gain and lav mic quality
