I think it would be cool if in the game there is a "set lot as workplace" option because there are so many great lots in the gallery that would fit for different careers. A physical trainer could set their workplace as a gym. A babysitter can set their workplace as any residential that has kids. A barista could set their lot to a specific coffeeshop. And that way we could control which world their workplaces are located and perhaps also have people who are in the same careers but work at different companies. Maybe one group of tech gurus work in this company and another group works at another company on different lot and you imagine they are direct competition. Assigning our own lots would give so many story options and it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to add into the game. It would be really similar to when interior design career knows which lot your sim needs to go to when its time for your gig.

Yes! yes! yes! THIS! I would love this! It makes also so much more sense. We can control more of our Sims' life and tell far more compelling stories that way. I don't understand why this is not a thing yet. At least like you said, implementing playable careers for the existing lot types like trainer or barista(I think this is Get Together Pack bound) would make sooo much sense! I hope The Sims Team considers this for a big Basegame update.

@@Simproved If they did this it would also instantly reduce people's complaints about rabbit holes. Also, I thought of a build idea. Maybe a King Midas lot in which everything he touched has been turned to gold? I haven't seen any sim builder do it before. I don't build enough to know are there even enough gold-like items in game to do it.

Genius idea. There are also lots of careers that allow Sims to "work from home" at some level, so they could also do this. Now I want to build 10 community lots!!

It reminds me of when I was in the Japan quarter (or what it was called...) in Berlin, it really reminds me of the Sony building..! I don't remember much about it as it was quite a while ago but this building gives me the feeling..! Our hotel was in the museum area so that area felt like a different city..! I really want to visit Germany again though..!

Great build. I really want to use this in my game. Although it will be a regular workplace, not evil Corp 😉Also nice to see the building is base game. I just want to add that a lot of the careers have a work from home option. Just about every rabbit hole careers added with DLC has this option, as well as the base game style influencer. Some work from home tasks require to visit a specific lot (especially careers from city living, strangerville) but others have mainly tasks which can be done from anywhere.

I would love to see you do some kind of a makeover of that gym that is in the same neighbourhood. It's good to have at least a few gyms (k I own several packs so I have several worlds, if I had only basegame then one would be enough..) and to me this Willow Creek commercial district makes a lot of sense having one. I _almost_ like the one that is already there but I think you'd make a really good take on the New Orleans style mixed with modernised interiors for a gym.. :)

This is a nice office! Evil corp sign me up! The last office I worked out of was basically a rehabbed industrial space, and not in a fun way - in a big old brick building on the outside that’s got renovated into offices in the 60’s so the inside is all linoleum and partitions and they tried to cover how drab it was by painting the walls a headache inducing neon green and orange way. It wasn’t customer facing - the customer facing offices in another city were much nicer.

Your lotion and tissues had me cackling. I love this office building and will definitely use it. I always wished we had a "professional space" lot type or something for when we want only (young/full) adults to show up to a lot. I use the cafe lot type instead usually to make up for this, and probably will for this lot too. Thank you for the cool and inspiring build.

Ohhh do only adults go to bars? Damn i never noticed. I dislike all types if kids in the game tbh so I kind of disregard them everytime. But next professional space I’ll build will be set to bat then. Good idea! Happy you like the build😊

@@Simproved Yeah only adult sims appear one bars, lounges, and nightclubs (albeit if there's a club set to appear in a lot then they will appear). I usually choose cafe just because it's easier to justify in my community/multipurpose lots.

What an awesome idea! Stunning build, and I love the uniqueness of all the levels! Never noticed how much sims content there is in the game for the sims game development level 😄 I haven’t really played much with the freelancer careers, and now this makes me want to! Thank you!

Wonderful job Fry! 🙂The architecture is great; what creative ways to use only base game. Your evil corporation ideas were hilarious, I totally agree with you on most of these types of buildings in real-life looking very cold and brutalist (not my style either).
