Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi, zu deutsch: Sen und Chihiros magisches Verschwinden Also ist der englische titel sogar näher am original, als drr deutsche titel. Aber dafür is die synchronisation auf deutsch viel liebevoller, als auf englisch (wie immer)

not QUITE the real thing but there is a bathhouse in Matsuyama, Japan called Dogo Onsen, which is said to be the inspiration for the bathouse in Spirited Away! So technically then, the inspiration for this build!

Considering that in the cartoon it has shifting interior and a multidirectional portal for a door, and in the original novel it was a small hut on the inside, and one of its door options led to Howell's apartment in Scotland, it leaves a lot for imagination and interpretation.

You blew my mind with that wallpaper trick, I was like “IS SHE ACTUALLY USING THE CRACKS!?” Fantastic, absolutely stunning. Thank you for your hard work.

Those 'coal gods' are called dust sprites or dust spirits and you can actuality catch them in granite falls. Their little container is in debug.

The bonsai trees on the walls were super creative...I would’ve never thought to combine the cracks with the clouds to make a tree, but it works so nicely!!!

Legit forgot I was watching this for the build & started watching movie scenes in my head instead like: "Oh that's the staircase she tripped on" " Ah yes..the Yubaba-bitch's room.." You're so talented! Thank you for both the build-spiration + nostalgia trip!!

Absolutely amazing. I have seen so many Spirited Away bathhouses, but none of them have this much detail!!

in French it's called "the journey of Chihiro" (le voyage de Chihiro") si similar to the German translation apparently!

I’m upset about how accurate this actually is

Sometimes when you say "I'm sorry I don't know the word for this in English" I'm like, 'Oh it's this.'. But at other times you're like "Boiler...room...guy?!" and I'm like 'yeah, I guess. I don't know what I'd call him either' 🤣 But seriouly, LOVE this build!! You did an amazing job! I don't think I could have recreated it in a million years haha!

The accuracy is absolutely mind boggling! I couldn't have imagined something as detailed as a Miyazaki world could be copied in the Sims like this. Truly a work of art!

You don´t understand how happy this video made me. Spirited Away is my favorite movie of all times and The Sims is my favorite video game. Imagine my joy watching this. Every single little detail us so accurate and well thought. I can see all the effort you put into this. Thanks for making this into an actual, playable build. IT´S A MASTERPIECE!

This looks so amazing!! I can't imagine how much effort you put into it. There is a museum in Japan for historical architecture and they actually have the original bathhouse that served as inspiration for the one in the film. They have many old homes that you can actually go inside and explore. It is really amazing. It's called the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Museum of anyone is interested

In italian the title is "La città incantata" that actually means "the enchanted city", so I suppose every country has his own translation ahah. Anyway, wonderful job, really!

Making tree decorations on the walls with cracks and green clouds is SO GOOD. And those pipes on the sides of the building. WOW. I’m only half way through, so I bet I’ll be amazed by lots of other things soon!

When you think a simmer could be an architect. Blew it outta the park amazing!

Spirited Away is an incredible movie, and this is an incredible build. I think Spirited Away is one my favorite Miyazaki movies along with Howl's Moving Castle and My Neighbor Totoro--Who am I kidding, I love most of the Studio Ghibli movies.

I knew someone must have made the Bathhouse with the pack! This is incredible. The details are amazing. It’s clear you spent both a lot of time researching and looking at the source, as well as actually designing and building. It’s just brilliant. Bravo!

This is amazing. I really enjoy watching you build because your solutions to translating builds in the game is so simple yet effective. Like using cracks and clouds to form trees is such an easy solution but not something I would ever think of using.

Oh, and by the way: The "coal gods thingies" are called "dust spirits" and they're also in The Sims 4! They are a kind of "insect" that comes with Outdoor Retreat (I think), so you could actually have them in this build as well!

Oh this is so wow (as always though, but I can't stop admiring your effort and talent!) My God, the trees are just ingenious! And the bridge! And the stairs for workers! And I need to rewatch the movie now))) Is Howl's Moving Castle buildable? And also - how's your foot? Do you feel better?

Foot is doing good. I an walk longer now. :D I am so happy you like it. I just watched Howls Moving castle yesterday and maye I will rebuild it, have to do some testing first.

That trick with the cracked wall thing and the kids clouds is so smart. I'm amazed and definitely stealing that. Wow.

I LOVE spirited away, the bath house is totally a very key character in the film, and just looking at the outside of your build absolutely blows me away, with the staircase to the boiler room and the platforms to make the iconic red bridge!! So impressed Edit: the trees on the walls? Amaazinggg

This is hands down the best thing ever built in the Sims 4 by anyone. I can only WISH my computer could handle this lot. :(

Who in the world would dislike such perfection? D= This is absolutely stunning! Very, very well done!

I stared at the thumbnail for ages, then finally clicked on the video! I was truly mesmerised! Wow.

It seems incredible to me when creators like you do these things. I mean, this pack came out a short time ago and you were already able to make a construction SO difficult. That is talent and effort

EA should have invited you to build for the Packs.

This build is one of the most impressive sims 4 builds I have ever seen! It’s so amazing!

I know I've already commented but... I can't get over this! The creativity you have of being able to recreate so much of the movie so faithfully with just these tools... It's a little dramatic to say but I would call this a Magnum Opus of Sims building!

I can’t wait to try to build the hotel in Nancy drew: secret at the waters edge.

I'm brazilian and the movie's title could be also translated to Chihiro's Journey, and the translation from japanese to eng is apparently "Sen and Chihiro’s Spiriting Away", so it's kind of like that! Also, amazing build, you're very very creative. Keep up the good work!

The Japanese title is also a bit of a pun. "And" in Japanese is "to," and "sento" a public bath house. :p

Even though I watched a lot of Sims4 youtube videos I have to say this has to be the most incredible build I've seen so far. I'm of course biased because I love the movie. But holy smokes there's so much flavour in this building

Ich dachte zuerst, dass du den Innenraum vielleicht auslässt, weil das Haus von außen genügend Details hat, aber dass du echt jede Etage ausgebaut und liebevoll eingerichtet hast, ist wunderschön! Chihiro ist einer meiner Lieblingsfime und das Badehaus ein Traum. In der kurzen Zeit so viele Details einzubauen, zeigt, wie viel Wissen und Talent du hast. Bitte mach' weiter so, es macht Spaß dir zuzuschauen und vor allem, dir zuzuhören. 😊
