RICE TERRACE HOUSE | PLATFORM TOOL PUSHED TO ITS LIMITS | JAPANESE | The Sims 4 Speed Build | NOCC
Ойындар
Hi there! Welcome to this house building video in the Sims 4. Today I'm building my Japanese Rice Terrace House, inspired by Asian tiered rice terraces. In this video I'm going to push the new PLATFORM TOOL, that we got with an update last week, to its limits.
In the rice terraces you can find a modern Japanese house, where I used a lot of the new items that we got with the new pack for the Sims 4, Snowy Escape. I'm building this house in the new world that came with that pack, Mt. Komorebi, on a 50x50 lot.
You can find this build on the Gallery and it's without any custom content.
I hope you'll enjoy the video!

I could feel my processor fan burning out just by looking at the thumbnail, ha! This is such creative, fantastic work. I watch your videos just in awe at how fun your builds are to play with - of course - but then just works of art on their own. Amazing job, as always!

totally agree!!! she's so amazing!!! every builds are art
I think this was a much more successful "Japanese" build. I agree that the other cliffside house felt more chinese. And as always both builds were simply amazing!!!

Happy to read that it’s more successful as a Japanese build and that you liked them both 😄

@@TheSimStream More successful but also an unnecessary apology since you said at, I believe, 1:20 in that original video that you based the build off of a Chinese temple, showed a picture of it and reiterated that it was more Chinese than Japanese since that was the reference photo. Commenters not actually watching the video don't deserve the apology here since they didn't actually pay attention (or probably even watch the video, they likely just based their comment off of what they saw in the thumbnail).
I had tried to do it before with terrain tools but it failed miserably haha this video inspired me to try again

I tried it before with terrain tools too.. not possible 🤣 So cool that we have platforms now, it opens up so much more possibilities in the game
EA, please! Do not miss the opportunity to hire this genius.😲😲😲 💚💚💚💚💚
Rice terrace is very common in Southeast and East Asian because rice is the staple or main food and awh Irene this build beautifully remind me of my hometown, loves your amazing works
There's sims builders and builds and then there is this. This is like God tier building. Just amazing. Wow.
The developers truly seems to dive in the communitys wishes and likes this time :)
Im indonesian, and ive been wanting to make a house that feels indonesia. So thank you for this! I definitely will use it, this is soo good. (edit: I know this is japanese, but the stacked ricefield feels very Indonesian)
Watching you put all the grass down was soooo satisfying
I watched a lot, really a lot of Sims4-youtubers during the last few months. Your creations are a world of their own. Absolutely amazing.

Okay this is now my fave build of yours. I grew up in a mountain city and I can always see rice terraces easily from our balcony and this build reminded me of that.

So happy to read that, thank you! It sounds amazing to have views like that. The Netherlands (where I’m from) is completely flat 🤣 Lots of beautiful lakes though
Just by lookng at the picture I'm mind blown, this is amazing how you can create EVERYTHING in this game and it's limited tools!
Wow, this is even better than anything we were able to do in The Sims 3.
This build reminds me of how Vietnam looks. It’s beautiful!!
It’s kinda Chinese one, they call it ”梯田” Titian, which means terraced field. In Japan, we cultivate on flatland. Btw, I love all the lovely Chinese styles and I’m so so in love with your style of building, this’s spiffing!
I looked at the thumbnail and i saw that you used platforms to create this masterpiece of an exterior and i thought "of course she would think of an unique way to use them"
Wow!!! I have never seen a build project like this before for Sims 4. I am truly amazed. Again, WOW!!!!

this makes me feel like going on a vacation. it is relaxinggggg.
i very recently have started watching sims 4 build videos on youtube for my anxiety and depression management, i figured out it amazingly helps me relax and release my stress in such a simple way. I am going through all your videos and I really want to appreciate your talent and work 💞 I rewatch several many of my favourite builds of yours while having meals alone in these isolated lockdowns haha i was so happy to find your channel because im a korean simmer and also am studying in holland at the moment!
I have been welcomed to the rice fields
I am so glad the KZread algorithm brought me to you channel! You are so incredibly creative and talented! All the details... I am shooketh!😍
This is saying a lot considering your builds are every one so unique and incredible but this may be my favorite one so far. :) I keep coming back to it!
this is insanity, the details ... wha- how??
Oh my God! It's great! You must have a million subscribers! I look at it and understand what a great job it is!
Terraces rice fields looks great! Reminds me about Bali
Ohhh! Rice terraces! We have that in my country, the Philippines.
OMG! I placed this lot in the empty snow lot on Mt. Komorebi and it took breath away. I don’t care that it is ridiculous to see a rice terrace on somewhere that is snowing forever. Your lot looks so good.

I had the same idea. literally thought about rice fields when the platform update came.
Always going above and beyond!! ❤
Stunning build!
If you have the "Better Buid/Buy" Mod from TwistedMexi you have to disable the "Organized Debug" Filter and restart the game, if not your build will be marked as an build with CC in the Gallerie. And how do you make so awesome builds?

Wow, just fantastic!!! I wish I had the pack now. I wanted to mention that seeing the rocks and plants, I am inspired, it looks like something I can use to make a forest in the movie Princess Mononoke.

Hi Irene! What a wonderful construction, like all you do. Great job, I love it. I think it would be interesting if you did some construction inspired by the city of Kowloon. Ever since I first saw images and videos I've been obsessed with that city. I think it could be an inspiration for you.
I don't usually comment on things but I've noticed from watching your videos how well researched all your builds are, I was really impressed watching your Syndey Opera House video knowing that you'd watched a documentary and gave the build a lot of detail that isn't usually given to replica builds (as far as I'm aware). You're an incredible builder, thank you so much for sharing your process with these videos and it's so inspiring to behold, thank you!
I'm filipino and the build really resembles the banaue rice terraces of ifugao ( a province in the philippines), philippines which is a well known rice terraces that attracts tourist and it is a unesco world heritage site. It is built by the indigenous people of ifugao before the philippines was colonized by spain and it is still being used by the people to plant rice.
As soon as they announced this tool I became excited to see what you would do. thank you for sharing these. You amaze me. :)
