Hey guys! I hope you like the builds in this pack. Feel free to try out the Sims Pack Build Challenge! *evil laugh*

Knowing the restrictions you have when building for a pack, I am completely blown away how utterly gorgeous your builds are. And how your style and attention to detail still shines through. These builds are beautiful! I can understand why the church reno and murder shack wouldn’t be accepted, but absolutely love your concepts for them too and would love to see you do them later. I would replace the rental for your horror cabin, but the church reno will have to go on another lot… because as much as sims didn’t need yet another bar, the game definitely needed this one, it is exquisite. So glad you were able to pop in some of your building tricks into the home’s glass window area. That is incentive to learn to build ‘non-standard’ homes etc. I am so glad when they invite players from other countries to build and inject their perspectives, influences, and ideas into the game. You are an inspiration.

Glad you like the builds. I also wasn't sure if another bar would have been this good, I personally probably will set it to a lounge IF I can pull it off without deleting to much of the build. Guess we'll see.

The difference between pre-Simmer builds and post- will never cease to amaze me

I think the dev team never really cared that much about the builds. So this is why the least amount of time and thought went into them. But with letting the builders form the sims community build them, they get good builds and more advertising for the pack aswell. So I guess the devs themselves are very happy that they could do that now. But just my guess.

When I saw the trailer, I thought you were the one who built the Nectar bar! Your roofing is always so creative and interesting! The family lodge and the nectar bar just had those architectural details that made me think they were your builds! I love that the rental is nice and cozy but still kind of looks like the type of cabin you might see in a horror movie if it was a dirtier and shabbier - because horror movie cabins are inspired by cleaner nicer real rental cabins - so it’s a little like a game of telephone inspiration and let’s you tell both nice family ranch vacation stories, and spooky lost in the canyon being hunted by zombie werewolves stories.

Lots of simmers could already call out some of my builds. I think us 4 builders have all a very distinct style and if you know our builds well you can spot them all very accurately. I will definitely turn the cabin into a more horror cabin as I wanted it to be. muahaha

I had to include all these restrictions, because I know a lot of people are going to complain about our builds nonetheless. There are a lot of very arrogant Content creators in the sims community and I wanted them to know exactly how hard it is with all these restrictions to build a nice house. Big props to every simmer who ever did a build for a pack. It truly is imo the hardest build challenge and knowing that thousands of people are going to see your build and judge it, is not necessarily good on ones self esteem, mental health. We were all very nervous and just hoped everyone thinks our builds are "ok", like that was the bar we set ourselves, because we just didn't want to get bashed and hated on. We didn't think people will praise the builds that much, since we(the builders) know we would have done a lot in our builds differently if the restrictions weren't as hard.

One of the first things I noticed about the pack was that the lots were SO well designed, and I knew that EA had outsourced their creativity. I was super impressed with your builds! Both are extremely well designed, especially considering the restrictions.

Thank you so very much. It was definitely such an honor to be asked even. The other 3 girls and I really tried our best with the builds. And we collectively protested when it was again "use less x and less y and less budget and less here and there" it was frustrating but also a challenge. I mean this in a good way. It was fun overall. So I'm veeeery happy that people like my builds.

The Grove family house is my favorite build in the entire pack, it's so beautiful yet cute and cozy. The builds for this pack are top tier (still thanking god that EA decided to let simmers build their lots years ago...) but this house is hands down the best in my opinion 🥰

Nectar Bar: Absolutely stunning! Even with the clipping trees (Devs please move them). Love the balcony over looking the BBQ area too… could definitely see some country music events in that space!

The devs can't change a lot now. But I think it is a mino inconvenience. I know most people will play with walls down anyway and maybe not see it at all.

Ha! Ja. Es ist wirklich ne andere Kultur. Ich und die Norwegerin (Ninnster) waren etwas verwundert, wie in den Meetings Feedback gegeben wird. Ist halt wirklich anders als hier in Deutschland. Als wir das angesprochen haben, haben die Devs versucht etwas mehr "mean" zu sein, was darin endete, dass sie gesagt haben "Ändert das und das!" *Pause* "Also nur wenn ihr könnt und mögt" XD echt witzig. Musste während der Meetings manchmal wirklich lachen. Gut, dass ich gemuted war. Naja, sie haben es versucht.... XD

I love the builds. I can see the houses working well in outdoor retreat too .

I LOVE The Oak Barrel and the Grove family home! I think my absolute favorite one is the Oak Barrel. It is so unique and beautiful inside.

Ohh congratulations honey you 100% deserved to have a turn at this; I've seen some of your other builds here on KZread and they are absolutely stunning!! Plus the large Native American inspired ranch house you made for this pack is just completely and totally freaking beautiful. Honest to God it's 1 of maybe 6 or 7 houses/community lots I didn't tear down to rebuild myself across the entire TS4 franchise so far lol!!! Keep up the awesome work.

I'd love to see more plants, vines and greenery in the wine bar, if you ever update/redecorate it please consider it! Just follow your vision with the lighting and deco without restrictions 💕

Yes, they are absolutely super talented and I was so happy I could work alongside them on this pack. We bonded through the building phase and became very good friends.

the Grove Family house is awe inspiring. While I love all the new houses in the this world, (when ranch is not exactly my style), this is by far my favorite. Freakin' incredible hack for the effect on the front facade. The interior layout is so clean and easy to play too. My favorite style. Love it-. Congrats to you!

I love your builds! That first one kind of reminds me (in general shape, at least) a little bit of my own house, or what my house could look like if someone a lot more wealthy than me were to buy it and upscale it considerably! 😂 (I do have that triangular roofline with the big windows, though, just not the fancy stone walls, the porch, the pretty Southwestern decor, etc. Though the new fireplace that has the rustic wooden beam mantel? That's almost exactly my fireplace. 😄)

Have you seen the horror/sci-fi movie nope? It’s centred around a house ranch and it’s got a great old house and beautiful farm. It would be so cool to see a simmer attempt to build it and maybe the alien too, or a wackywavingarmflailingtubeman as well 😅 and the horse stables. If not, it’s such a great movie, and I recommend a watch. And to even check out the essays on KZread about the movie and all it’s secrets. Love your builds in this pack can’t wait to see what else you put out with this pack!

I have seen the movie in it's first week at the cinema. So right now I'm a bit rustic to remember how exactly the farmhouse looked like again. The wibbly-wobbly-wiggle-men I of course remember. Fun fact, the devs added one top to Horse Ranch because of this movie. And I think the horse's name (was it Lucky??) is in the randomizer.

Yeah, I don't write down a script for my voiceovers because that would just take too much time and I personally don't enjoy the editing process that much. So I always just chatter away even though in my head the translation is slower, so I always have hiccups while talking. But I think it is more natural this way.

Congrats Fry! All of you did amazing on the builds in this pack, probably some of my favorite of all time since simmers started building for the official pack builds! As I joked with Ninni this is going to be rough to bulldoze any of these for me to build LOL but I am keeping one save that I actually play in sometimes with all the original builds. The "winery" is amazing, and it looks like ones I have been to here in the States as well and will easily convert to a restaurant for those with dine out. Oh and you are so right about those build restrictions that is a lot! I almost want to try to see if I can even do it at all 🤣I tend to use as much as everything from all packs when I build and have a hard time editing my builds... even just building a starter home without all of these restrictions and just a budget restriction is no joke!

Very happy you liek the builds. Ninni was so frustrated during the building process with 2 starters! She had it the hardest out of all of us and it shows how much of an amazing builder she is with the builds she could pull out. I really look up to her.

It's a ranch. Ranch style seems to be something google picks up. If you want to see these big gabled glass fronts then maybe search for ranch mansion.

Lol all good. Like I said, everyone can of course bulldoze/change the lots. The rental has a great view right next to the waterfall. It’s just a beautiful spot.

nope, different swatch is considered a new wallpaper. I think in my big ranch I had 4 wallapapers in total and the devs were fine with that number.

Naaah I disagree with the sims team. Horror shack all the way! The sims team is too stuck on the happy-go-lucky game when a lot of us want a bit more twisted adult humour with consequences fun of the sims of old. That said, your builds are incredible and the world is really pretty!

I will definitely do a renovation of the shack and turn it into a horro cabin. =) In my opinion that is the best way to play this game. muahaha
