I really enjoyed this movie with how high the stakes were. My only complaint about this is why Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki didn’t wear their stealth suits long enough. But other than that, I love this movie

One thing I feel like should be brought up more often is the animated choreography. Yes, the animation itself looks INCREDIBLY and professionally well done, but coming up with the choreography alone and being able to do that and frame it at certain angles is a whole different thing and a whole other level of amazing.

Not really a spoiler, but kinda I guess. Midoriya gets a decent bit stronger between seasons five and what will be season six. I think the movie went with his season 6 power level so they could have more fun with it.

I really enioyed the whole setting of this movie, it almost felt a tad darker than normal my hero? Yet silly on the same hand. Glad to see you covering it, since you usually manage to explain almost everything I loved about a series/movie.

Fun Fact: In the movie pamphlet, there’s a survey in the back asking Horikoshi about some of his favorite movies at the time, one of which being Spider-Man: Far from Home. So when you said it was extremely Spider-Man, I think it’s because FFH inspired the whole Blackwhip swinging sequence

This is one of those movies you have to watch at least twice. It was amazing on the first watch through, but the second time around was even better because I got to appreciate the full use of Rody's quirk. I especially love the scene where Rody is gonna give up the briefcase, but Pino is desperately trying to wake Deku up. It shows that Rody knows that what he's doing is wrong and he secretly hopes Deku would stop him from making a mistake. Also the theme of "Never Give Up" was brilliantly done. Rody got to see the big difference between someone like Flect Turn who gave up on life, and Deku who never gives up no matter how hard life gets and it inspired him to better his life. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

This was the first anime film I saw in theaters and it was a trip. Seeing such a high-stakes MHA movie in a theater instead of a computer screen with people sitting around me made it so much more hype. Such a dope movie and awesome video!

...Can we just appreciate how Bakugo's ult was pretty much a fullblown Allmight-level move?

Why does this show and these movies make me cry like a school kid so easily? They've somehow perfected hype and emotional buildup unlike any other anime I've ever watched. Seriously over a dozen times I've just exploded in tears

When you know about how pino works, her trying to stop him from leaving the barn earlier in the movie hits so hard
