Two quick things, firstly I'm uploading this today Friday 23rd of December 2022 instead of Saturday as that's Christmas eve, so wanted people to get to watch this outside of the holidays. As a manga reader i appreciate the effort Bones put into animating Dabi's Dance. That was one of my favourite moments in the manga and I'm glad it got the animation it deserved.

The voice actors deserve praise, they did a phenomenal job🙏🏿

Dabi's dance of despair destroyed Endeavor's willpower 🔥🔥🔥 Dabi has been my favorite villain since he was first introduced

Season 6 MHA ending is truly an emotional moment and for each special ending, from Twice’s death to the Toya reveal.

I legit teared up so much when lemillion should up on screen, he's my favorite hero. Everything he stands for is what I think the #1 hero should be.

So appreciative of modern anime, really hope working conditions improve for animators soon

You HAVE to watch the endings again in the episodes for Twice, Bakugo and Dabi and also pay attention to the lyrics. They are absolutely incredible.

It was amazing!

When I first saw episode 9 I was like *WHAT WHY DOES DEKU LOOK SO DANG SCARY* then I remembered one of the three things all wise men fear which is the anger of a gentle man which honestly go perfectly with how izuku keeps getting more and more rage towards shigarki and I am positive that this could greatly change what deku is going to do because we all know how he does not care for his own safety when it comes to helping people who need it.

Ikr. Remember Best Jeanist told Bakugou that his hero name is a wish about how he wants to be or should be. His wish and who he wants to be is someone who surpasses All might and becomes the number one hero who never looses. So he payed homage to All might by putting might in his name. All MIGHT, DynaMIGHT.

Season 5 may have been all set up and I defend even the strange aspects like the arc switch not being narratively damaging. But it all lead to this and I could not be happier they are doing this arc justice. I have had nothing but a blast watching, theorizing, and actively making notes on this arc as it goes. It’s true I wish to every god out there people had a better memory span for such a detailed show, but I’ll happily take that people are enjoying MHA more than ever. It’s earned it’s keep as a truly fantastic anime.

I think of it the same way, in all honesty it wasn't the greatest BUT it wasn't anywhere near as bad as most people seemed to be making out, no where near and as you said it led up beautifully isn't this season in everyway which I great appreciate.

@@AnimeWins having 3 set up arcs following 3 9.5 and above seasons in a row is ROUGH. (From my opinion 2 and 3 were 10’s, and 4 was a 9.5) I still give it a solid 8/10. I have my complaints sure, like the Uraraka episode either doing A LOT more to be filler, or having what was removed from MVA. But that’s pretty much the only major one I got outside nitpicks.

@@uwayn9829 I didn’t like the opening season as much. Season 2 is when everyone’s personality and diversity truly came around and I while I love Deku as my favorite anime character of all time, I just think there could have been more. I don’t have anything AGAINST season 1, it’s just that until season 2, it made the surroundings a bit more bland looking back compared to what we’re used to now of EVERYTHING in the background has incredible depth and lots of crazy development. I will not deny that the upcoming arc is my favorite of MHA so far. Even over this past war and the current arc. I just can’t wait to see its adaptation.

It could just be me not being very active online but I don’t think Izuku’s voice actor gets enough credit because almost every line he says whether it be big and explosive (like the intro recap) quiet and raspy (like when he says “it’s starting” in ep1 of this season) and that crazy screaming (when he says “I’m the Deku who never gives up!” During the fight with him and Shiguraki) he just sounds so cool!

No spoilers bellow!!! As a manga reader I enjoyed all of this once again even when I knew what was going to happen, they put such great animation, editing, and voice acting into this and I am so ready for what is going to come next in this season. I hope they keep this quality up.

this season has probably been one of my fav in the series with the stand out episodes for me being dabi’s dance thrill of destruction and one’s justice Rest in peace goat twice

As a manga reader they did a good job with the war!! Action packed! Intense moments and voice acting/ animation was on point!!!!

i feel like u are one of the few anime lovers who would look at mha and go "Wow! An absolutely stellar anime!" thank u so much for that. I cannot describe how happy i am that somebody doesnt hate on this masterpiece.

Honestly watching my hero has been a pleasure. The first 4 seasons I was like "man this is good" but with the attention to detail, tha character growth of both heros and villains in season 5 through where the manga is now is staggering and made my hero easily in my top 10. If not number 5

The war arc was so damn good

Thank you for giving the animation in this 1st cour of s6 the praise it deserves. So many people started to crap on the entire cour just because ep 9 didnt meet their expectations for the animation, they were expecting another deku vs todoroki or deku vs overhaul from it but ended up not getting what they wanted and started to call the animation bad as a result which makes 0 sense.

I don’t care if the animation hasn’t been the best or as consistent as we’d like, the content of this arc has been some of the best of the entire series, and the anime is even adding onto a lot of it.

I agree, I also hope the anime adds more into the next arc. To me I use cake as an analogy to describe an anime. I consider the main part of the cake to be the story, OST, pacing, voice acting and characters/character development, while the icing is the animation. For this season the cake was splendidly well done, chefs kiss. The icing wasn’t first class perfect but it was still great and better than the last season. While the cherry on top is Bones adding in anime only scenes. I don’t know if this makes sense but basically I’m trying to say, this season was phenomenal, we might’ve had a few iffy moments with the animation but a huge majority of the animation was really well done either way, I’d say A tier animation 90% of the time, S tier animation 5% of the time and B tier animation 5% of the time. Overall great first half of S6 of MHA, which might be the best season of MHA.

This is, hands down, the best arc in BNHA to date, it's just such a wide scale of stuff to keep up with, and has some of the best character arc progressions/conclusions in a whole! (Also bc I'm a Bakugou fan, I'll never get over the fact that the chapter containing his sacrifice is called "Bakugou Katsuki, Rising" aaaaaaa) Thanks again for an, as always, great video!!! Keep up the amazing work!

Not to mention Koda's ability allows him to have amazing coverage of his surroundings. He's got eyes all over the place that can tell him what's going on. They really utilize him more later on in the story and I love that for him. He's such a good boy that does his best to be an amazing hero.

Okay, so this is my 2nd Comment, and it’s on Episode 9, but I’m loving the elements of the Movies the Anime is adapting, as they were also in the Manga too, and the Mangaka has already said he considers everything Canon apart from the Parody Manga, and it’s nice that those connections are becoming more obvious here, with Shigaraki using the same Shield Quirk against Endeavor that Nine used against Deku in the 2nd movie, and later with Gran Torino’s flashback of All Might containing 3rd OVA footage & 1st Movie footage, this will of course escalate, which will basically bring this Anime away from being a standalone thing, and make it more of a connected Franchise, even the 1st user’s statement in Episode 10 of choosing to remain within Deku, adds an explanation to the ending of the 2nd movie, god, I love the connection here

Ikr, I love those connections, they also sometimes provide explanation like the whole OFA thing in the 2nd movie. And let’s just say that the connections in this season will connect even more to the first MHA movie in the next arc and the arc after, however I’m not sure if the last arc I’m talking about will be adapted this season or the next. Also here’s another connection incase you didn’t fully know. In the second movie the main villain Nine’s purpose was to actually be a test subject for implanting AFO into him, so the Doctor could test how it would work on the human body, fix the tweaks and make the AFO quirk procedure perfect for when he works on Shigaraki, which explains a little more on how he has Nines air shield.

Not the only one who cried seeing Lemillion return dude. His entire character is just so damn good. Him fighting on even after losing his quirk in season 4 actually made me cry so hard. His character and personality just speaks so deeply to me and I am glad they brought him back even if it is just this one time. If it had been me I'd have broken my rule of 2 max and giving him 1million wins.

The way they had Bakugou's mom looking at a book of memories of him 😭 it's like they can't help but throw death foreshadowing in for him! The way Horikoshi keeps trying to kill Bakugo in this later half and tries to convince us it's real this time makes me so mad! Literally everytime the boy gets hurt they pull out the "this character is gonna die" stereotypes lmao

It's so nice seeing all the praise. I have made the mistake of browsing through Twitter and seeing some scenes getting backlash because they are not 1:1 as in the manga. Or don't look as epic and such. I've been enjoying this season so much, despite me not liking war arcs. Shiggy looks so good, love that design. Bakubabe has some great development too. I can't even say anything to Dabi, he's my best crispy boi. And Midoriya going all out is always fun to see. The fight against Makiha was great too. Gave me chills in the manga and gave me chills in the anime. I love it when they work together. I really liked the video, great job!

The pure tension in the fight with shigaraki had me sweating on my couch. Knowing that if he gets his quirks back it's completely over and how important Aizawa is. It just never let up until the end. I was anxiety ridden until it was over. Just thinking about it if I were deku when they have shigaraki bound up and he shoots the deleter bullet at aizawa I would've just one for all 100% crushed his throat in with the hand he was holding him with lol

This season is well deserved of over an hour. I'm glad I wasn't the only one that loved every episode of it.

I just watched the finale (episode 13). And nearly cried. It's weird that you didn't wait for the last episode of the arc. Also whenever a new quirk was revealed I'd always say to myself "ANOTHER UNIQUE QUIRKOHDA"

I always do 12 and 13 when it comes to MHA, makes for a pair of more even length videos since episode 1 is always larger in my script. So if I did 13 and 12 you'd have a massive video and a kinda normal length one basically

Season 6 slaps hard man!!!!! I was waiting so long to see this arc animated and I cannot be more happy with how it's been adapted. Best season hands down and it's barely at the halfway point.

This is a great Channel, so much effort placed into these videos, and you can feel the dedication in this man's voice for these videos.

At one point, Deku told Dabi that it was his quirk. I don't know if it was worded the same way in the manga as him saying that to Shoto, but I hope so. Because the parallels are so clear. He told this to Shoto because Shoto refused to use his power, fearing that any good that came from it would just be used by his father to validate his upbringing and claim a reflected glory for Shoto becoming a hero. Whereas to Dabi he was saying it because Dabi was deliberately using his powers to hurt others and trying to frame himself as just an extension of Endevour. Dabi was saying that it was Endevour's flames that harmed Hado and Deku was saying it very much wasn't In both cases, Deku was telling them that they are their own person and responsible for their own actions. That Shoto can use his flames to be a hero and be proud of that. And that Dabi is using his flames to be a villain and must take responsibility for that in the same way that Endevour has recently been trying to take responsibilities for the things he's done wrong

1:10:12 tbh it's been so long since i watched MHA season 4 and 5, so when i seen his entrance and the cape i had this weird yet wonderful feeling of nostalgia thinking "Who, is, This?!" and when his reveal came.. i cried

Season 6 has been godlike. Thank you for the amazing recap, keep up the great work ❤

I always look forward to your reviews when a season ends because honestly they are always the ones who go most in depth and find deep meanings which even i as a manga reader didn't notice! Also, don't know if anyone has already said this, but in episodes 3, 9 and 11 there were special visuals in the ending songs, which were awesome! Hope you cover them in the next cour

The build up for this season was so great

I love some of the extremely subtle foreshadowing that happens. For instance, when Shigaraki is using Search, you can see a third light following Midoriya and Bakugo, which is Todoroki. Also, when they show All Might and Eri, you'll notice that Eri's horn is smaller than the last time we saw her. That's because she recently used her quirk on Mirio.

I’m really glad to see this video cause I love the Everything Great About series because you bring up really interesting trivia that I would’ve not known before

I loved this op for really leaning into the comic book element of the show (finally) but it became downright funny to transition from dark, tense, and serious scenes in later episodes into that light and colorful song, so it well earns those two wins

Man, I'll be honest: I wasn't really feeling this season, but this video actually made me like it a bit more, since it reminded me of many great moments. Kudos to you.

Great work on the vid. Although I am a little disappointed that you didn't win the music during "Dabi's Dance." It was so manic and sinister with the mad laughter and screams playing just slightly above the music itself, it really added to the intensity of the scene.
